Pros: Great location, good cafe and bars located just outside the hotel, in Olgunlar caddesi, 10 minutes walk in Ataturk Bulvar to Kizilay and Sihhiye sq.

Cons: 1.Room service is not well-organised, although they suppose to clean up during the breakfast time, and it's not daily, you don't know when they come!  2.Breakfast is buffet but there's always a waiter who stares at your plate, forcing you to eat or otherwise he will take the plate, annoying! 3. beds are too old and shower douche was broken.

Average hotel with high price!

I landed at this hotel for the second time, and I don't regret it. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very kind and bilingual. The breakfast is very friendly and free of charge. The wifi is on all floors and you just have to ask for the PIN at the reception. The hotel is located in the center of Ankara, in the evenings the neighbourhood is lively with restaurants and bars on every corner. There are even animations and shows in some cafes!

Best price ratio

Having to stay in Ankara for two days before starting a self-guided tour of Anatolia, we chose this hotel based on the indications of Lonely Planet Turkey (family management, somewhat decayed but with plenty of gold and purple) and a seemingly good review on Tripadvisor. Apart from the friendly staff and who knew English, the good and abundant breakfast, the pleasant ground floor room and the optimal tourist location, I would not advise you.

Arriving at this hotel after a long day's drive it felt like a combination of faulty towers meets Russian cold war but I think that was just the carpet :)

The rooms were small but had sufficient fixed and moveable furnishings for us to both place our bags on.  Friends staying down the hall had a slightly different layout.

The beds were comfortable although my pillow was quite thin, as we were only there for one night I didn't ask if I could get another.  

The bathroom was a great size as were the bathrooms with a shower over the bath - including a mould free shower curtain always worth bonus points for me.

A good turkish breakfast and great wifi throughout, with a scattering of comfy seats on the landings of each floor and good lobby space for meeting others.

The hotel itself was quiet although just up the street there was bustling nightlife and restaurants less than a block away.

Served its purpose & great location

The hotel is located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the center of Ankara, very convenient both for walking the metro to 400 meters, and for finding a restaurant in the evening. The hotel is a bit dated, the hall is not stunning, the staff does not all speak English. The rooms are in the standard, clean but not exceptional, good breakfast. The private parking is nothing more than 3 or 4 seats on the sidewalk in front of the hotel, which however are almost always guarded by the staff of the same.

Excellent location in the centre of Ankara for an average structure

The hotel is clean and the rooms with bathroom are all refurbished but the common areas really need to be refreshed. The staff is friendly. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning that works well and you really need it if you spend the summer there. The WiFi (free) on every floor and it works without problems. You catch it even on the street! There is also cable TV and you can follow the news from France. Breakfast is good for the price of the room but not for restoration but you are in the city centre and there are good restaurants markets, there are some at every corner of the street. The location is perfect for going out at night and the metro is two steps away.
