It's a great place to relax! A cozy little boarding house next to the sea and restaurants, a quiet area. A few small bungalows. In the houses all the amenities, air conditioning, hot water, shower, laundry. Juliette's hostess is very kind and friendly, she cooks breakfast in the morning. If you care about nature, the sea, not a marble hotel, if you don't pick on every little thing, this place is perfect. A beautiful price-quality combination.

A good place to relax.

The photos are long out of date, the hotel is in a very depressing condition, the roads are in the mud, the houses are dirty, the plants are dry and the rooms of Vonisch are in the water, we thought it was abandoned, we canceled the booking without a penalty and left for another hotel after 5 minutes.

I'm not advising anyone.

It's a badly run boarding house. Dusty, dirty. The soap washroom is floating in the soaps. The smell of a stagnant sewer. With the door closed there's nothing to breathe. The area is sunlit. The hammocks and garden furniture are not suitable for use. Once, according to the photo, it was a really cozy place, but not now. The photos don't match the reality. The reviews are also. Booking was booked. When we arrived, we were looking for a place to stay. There's not much there to live in. We were lucky and we found a perfect option for the same money as in this boarding house. We had to pay for a single room in this boarding house, although we had to pay for a couple of hours of living in this boarding house, although it's a pity that we're doing this for about an hour.

It doesn't match the photo.

It was the end of the trip, and the hotel was like a cherry on a cake. Alas, I couldn't guess. For the sake of fairness, first of all, it was good: a nice breakfast, a comfortable bed, to the dolmusch stop and a 1 minute walk to the store. Now it's about complaints. 1.. Looking at the photo, I imagined an idyllic little paradise with white houses in a wonderful garden.

A complete discrepancy between photos and reality

- I didn't have wi-fi in my bungalow. I had to go to a hot tub with my laptop, which never bothered me. Everything else was fine. + The second time in Chirala. Last year I stopped at the other end of the village, closer to the Chimera. Now I decided to choose a place closer to the center. The description and the photo match. On the map I thought that the boarding house was actually 50 meters from the bridge across the river when entering Chirala. Street with coffee shops is 100 meters. To the beach is 3-4 minutes. To the ancient Olympia spas is 10-12 minutes. To Chimera I walked a few minutes - about an hour. I arrived a few hours later, because I was booked for bedtime, paid for the morning, I was covered by a hostess.

Nice boarding house.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in this building. The photos do not respect what is really the case. Everything is left alone. Garden unattended, reception in disarray. Cottages that would need a deep refreshment and even a careful cleaning. Dust everywhere, muffled bathroom tent and the smell of sewage The second day the room was not even cleaned and it is 15 square meters!!!!!! I have no words from a tourist who has traveled to many less frequented and touristic areas and for nothing pretentious I feel that I do not recommend this system even the 42 euros requested at night.

Very relaxing Pension. Breakfast very good. Juliette makes you very welcome.
Great location near shops restaurants and beach. Accommodation is great value
very clean and more than adequate for a couple of nights stay.
A bonus for us, pets are very welcome.

Enjoyable Stay

Absolutely beautiful with very friendly owners. The pension is clean and in a quiet location. I slept the best I ever did here. Great place to relax with proximity to the natural beach. Also, a great place to meet people as most guests tend to be very sociable. If you have any questions the staff will recommend and help you with any issue. Fear not - this is the place for your next vacation.

Best place you'll ever go to

Sitting down under an orange tree, reading a book, this is what I needed, and Defne Pension was the perfect place for me. It is not fancy, but we didn't want it to be. Bungalows are clean and tidy, and the garden is beautiful with citrus trees and a hammock. Juliette, who runs the place, was very nice and took good care of us. Breakfast was amazing. Laragh, the dog, and the two cats, added to the homey feeling. A perfect place to rest, like in the old days: Walk to the beach, enjoy a siesta, a book in the garden with a cup of tea. Who could ask for anything more?

Serene, quiet

If you don't mind your accommodation basic but clean, (your own little cabin) good value for money, this rustic little laid-back place with lovely helpful English owner - Juliet - who personally serves her lovely breakfast with real coffee  - but no earlier than 9am ;) then you will enjoy this little pension which is 5 minutes down an unpaved road to the beach and in a great location for Cirali's more authentic restaurants (also cheaper) and shops.  It's also really close to Olympus.
