We didn't get a fifth bed when we paid for a room of five people, a refrigerator that didn't work in the room and had to claim for water bottles, an average buffet.

It's not worth a 5*

In my experience as an international traveller, I have never had a worse experience at a hotel at this price point.
My husband and I wanted to try this hotel because it proposed thermal baths and various treatments. We booked a “villa” with a small thermal pool, costing us 4000 TL (approx. £180) per night. However, we ended up with an apartment with a dirty floor, two complementary bottles of water, a broken shower, and a thermal pool with dubious water at a tepid temperature. This was shocking, since for about 500 TL one can get a similar appartement with an integrated hammam. We decided to check out immediately and ask for our money back. We explained the situation very clearly, but the hotel management were utterly intransigent. They offered us a downgraded room (worth about 1000 TL per night) and a single “complementary” massage (only 30 minutes, I had to negotiate to get a full hour) or a family spa voucher. This was totally unacceptable, as none of this equaled the amount we had already paid.
After much hesitation and negotiation, we ended up staying at the hotel, since we weren’t getting our money back. The room we got was a major downgrade and everything in it was dated and lacklustre. The massage itself was amateurish and not worth the money we had already paid.
All in all, our stay at the Safran Hotel was pretty terrible. I was really shocked at the poor hospitality, intransigeance, and general unwillingness to recognize the hotel’s shortcomings by management. In Turkey, 4000 TL is a significant amount of money and I really feel sad for the Turkish people who save up to stay at this hotel because it really is unreasonably priced for what it offers.
I emphatically urge everyone to avoid this hotel. The thermal houses down the street, public baths, and the Park hotel across the street are all much more reasonably priced and offer more in terms of services and amenities.

Awful hotel

In a room for two, a set of towels only for one person! The look of the cloaked coats mentally brought me back to the past... what can spoil the thermal springs? Right - nothing! For this healing water, I will endure 3 days!😂

Not the best hotel settlement.

The girls who are just getting picked up at the reception today say wait... we ask what the reason for the delay is, they answer in your room of those. problem. we ask that there is only one room in your hotel. Give another room. Crude no. There is a settlement and we have 50 people coming, registering and going to the room. We are waiting. The attitude to customers is just not easy for a hotel that is positioned as a five-star hotel.

It's a terrible service.

I stayed in the private villas of this hotel for 3 days, the room was already very clean when I arrived. I was told it was a very very clean room. The chairs stick on the tables horrible! The horrible fridge mold and it doesn't even work anymore. I had to reset 3 times a day for a housewife to pass by. She didn't come over. I didn't have any towels anymore. I asked for water from a staff I was told to go buy it.

It's horrible.

Run away, we came as friends for the pool and the spa and I don't recommend it. We paid 150 for access to the pools and the spa and it's obviously stealing. The pools were very dirty, there was no hygiene, there were algae at the level of the water ducts and joints (also mold), there's not even a dressing room to change, there's absolutely limestone everywhere, it's like nothing was ever cleaned in the hotel. They abandoned this hotel, clearly saying it's presented as a 5 star hotel. Shame.

As for thermal and spa infrastructure, everything is stable and under needed control: pools are cleaned up regularly, all sunbeds and pool furniture is neat and clean. Food is of proper quality either. If you are lucky to be during not that crowded days, you will definitely be surrounded by truly individual service. Cuneyt bey and all team, thank you for splendid days of our stay at a truly high level! We stayed in such a period from December 31 to January 5th, 2021 and it's important that you also remember what the facilities and amenities of the hotel and pool are.

A balanced hotel with great staff

What a poor hospitality this hotel shows from the food served, always being scarfed on basics, to yelling administration (!) speaking no English at all, dirty rooms, house cleaning that you never get done, had to call four times before they showed up just to change the towels, without even cleaning the room or a bathroom. The canteen serves dessert but no tea; whereas the lobby cafe serves tea and has nothing to offer for a snack. The lightning system is not functioning well, it is always gloomy to dark, probably saving on electricity. Could not wait till the four-day-paid vacation was off. I would not recommend you to come here, as the hotel is not client-oriented at all!!!

I would not recommend this hotel!

I liked this hotel because the thermal waters were medicinal and the staff were friendly also liked their meals. However, I would like to plant the area around the hotel. I would like to see the green sea at least if we cannot see the blue sea.

My thoughts about this hotel

A very clean hotel with spa and massage facilities.The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly. I was there for 8 nights doing business and I think this hotel is better than the Hilton or the Mövenpick in Turkey.
