Simple accommodation that we stayed at in June 2019 as part of a group tour. The hotel is family run. Dinner is simple prepared by the owner and his wife. Hotel rooms are very basic, with very old wooden furniture. Wooden flooring creaks when we walked around. Surrounding area is very comfortable but it's far away from any shops and restaurants and tucked right at the end of the road.

Simplistic

From the moment i arrived at this place to the end of my stay i felt like i was in a different world. I had always wanted to visit this small town, but, since it was a business stop i didn t expect a lot, all i needed was a bed to sleep on. This 260 year old property is located at the very end of the city, yet close to the city centre. Once you arrive at the hotel you wouldn t want to go see the city attractions. You just stay there either in the room or in the patio having some drinks and living the serenity. You wake up to nothing but the birds singing and have a traditional breakfast either in the outside patio or, if cold, in the lobby which is of course authentic itself and quiet. Both Satı and Cihat were extremely helpful and frankly. I ll definitely go visit this place and it would be epic. All in all top notch!

Absolutely amazing

The hotel is slightly out of the centre of the village, within walking distance. The property is very nice and surrounded by a park where you can have breakfast. Very available and friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Motorcycle parking without any problems. It's a shame that the entrance to the front of the building was not used. Absolutely recommended.

Great stay in an Ottoman house

Beautiful Ottoman house, clean and spacious rooms, excellent and abundant breakfast. Too bad you didn't value and use the entrance on the front (the reception and breakfast room are on the side of the building). Absolutely recommended.

What a great atmosphere.

we enjoyed our place in this historical palace. the room was very simple and the furniture were antique and shabby style.. if you are looking for luxury this not your choice!! the garden was beautiful with cherry trees. the breakfast was really delicious !! we had our breakfast in the garden which was lovely. the staff were friendly.

very nice old ottoman palace

Just on the edge of the small town of Safranbolu, the centre of which is within 10 minutes' walk, this beautiful throne house in the middle of a large, peaceful garden. Very spacious, clean rooms decorated with carpets and antique items. Magnificent breakfast buffet. The owner is hospitable and friendly (he took care of our bus tickets to Amasra). We had a pleasant stay of 3 nights.

Calmness

We were a group of 13 persons and we stayed for one night. It was perfectly !! Cihat was such a kind person! food and breaksfast were very good ! We highly recommand to stay there ...

Very nice and friendly hotel, just outside the small city of Safranbolu (walkable to the centre!). It has a beautiful garden, the hotel has the looks of an old colonial, stately house. Nice rooms, big enough for a family with 5 persons, with wifi-wishes. The hotel has nice wooden floors with Turkeys carpets.
The owner is very kindly and helpfull.

Oasis of Rest

It's like a country house. The guy who rented it wasn't particularly nice or pleasant either. We certainly were looking for another alternative for the next occasion, The house-hotel inside is right, as is the breakfast. Very nice outside of that, just like the garden. No we like, The location very difficult to find, not being centered, little sympathy in the guy who rented it.
