Great, Friendly and Helpful staff at this hotel.  Had the unfortunate experience of leaving my mobile phone onboard the taxi that took me back to hotel, where both concierge Thilan & Brayan sprang into actions - one of them kept calling my mobile which was an international no. - hoping that the driver would discover the phone (which was on silent), while the other one immediately and continuously calling the taxi company.

They spare no efforts in assisting in the eventual recovery of my mobile phone.

Great staff - including also the friendly and chatty April from the cafe.

Always have a great stay at this hotel. Tidy, well organized, quiet, good pub inhouse, and Swarna, the Coffee Bar Lady is first good impression you get when waking up sipping a double espresso skillfully topped with milk foam. Thank you.


Excellent Hotel / great Coffee Bar

Booked the hotel on points for a reasonable 4000 SPG points but honestly i wouldn't pay the $180 they where asking to stay there , there are much better options 

First room was by the construction work at the front , moved to the side much better 

To be honest there isn't much wrong with the hotel , but there isn't much right with it either .... when leaving "Fixed Price  Taxi " are outside , just ask the guy for a normal cab they are half the price

I wouldn't Pay to Stay here

Visited Dubai, on way to the Maldives. Stayed at the above mentioned Hotel by default. There are several Hotels in and around by the same name, just different location. So so be aware when you book if you want to be in a certain place. However, apart from the location of this Hotel I must say the staff were very friendly, the rooms spacious and clean, food and restaurant were also good. All very helpful. Take a hop on and off bus tour it really is worth it!

Three day visit

this hotel is in a good location for the metro. it is clean , rooms are ok and the roof pool is excellent , but a little crowded at times. the drinks and food are expensive compared to other venues .
what impressed me most was the lads on the concierge desk who were extremely helpful. in particular  Jerson who went over and above what could be expected by helping us to rearrange our flight home after the original was cancelled .

This was the last leg of a 3 week holiday and the hotel was far better than expected! The appearance and cleanliness of the hotel is wonderful. The amenities, the room and food are superb.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Metro plus the hotel offers shuttle rides.

But, the best part about this hotel is the super super special and friendly staff! The ones I want to single out are Saikomar who cleaned my room (thank you for doing such s good job), and then all the staff at reception, but in particular Amaya (thank you for being so friendly and helpful every time I was at the desk - you are phenomenal!), Anya and Fady. You guys (Anya, you’re included!) rock and you make a person feel at home. You are what I will remember long after I have forgotten about the good food! The very short Swarna in the breakfast room: you too! What a pleasant person and super service!

I can recommend this hotel with closed eyes - super hotel, super staff (the best), good food, super service.

Super hotel and exceptional staff

Nice hotel with mostly helpfull people; reception very friendly people, Italian restaurant very friendly waiters; Tushar, Prince , Anmol and Joy serviced us very well and friendly. The food was okay but not very special.The only comment we have is for the boys behind the poolbar, they are not so friendly and not so customer oriented.

Nice Hotel

The hotel itself (from the inside) is fine - the rooms are comfortable, the buffet breakfast is decent. However, the location of this hotel is terrible - the name "downtown dubai" is misleading and, in fact, confused a lot of taxi drivers we were with, since this hotel is not located in downtown dubai but rather in old Dubai! It should probably be called 'Sheraton Bur Dubai'. It's located in the middle of construction site and it takes at least half an hour to get to any place from here - other than old Dubai- which is not the heart of Dubai and will not be the place you will end up spending majority of your time as a tourist. For this price, it's better to find a place in the actual 'downtown' part of Dubai instead of this isolated location. If the location is not a problem for you- then this hotel is not bad and maintains the usual 'Four Points' standard.

I write to thank you, and if I may, through you, thank all the staff and personnel at Four Points Sheraton Downtown Dubai. I thank you all for your superb hospitality and excellent service during my stay at your hotel. This was my first visit to Dubai and I felt extremely welcomed and taken care of at your outstanding hotel. 

I'd like to particularly thank Agnes Yessica, who saw me through the wide range of breakfasts available to hotel guests each day. She assured that my stay was comfortable by constantly checking up on my hotel needs. Ms. Yessica also saw to it that my public transportation in Dubai was also taken care of. Like I stated before, this was my first time in Dubai, but I never felt so at home before, in any other country. The warm reception that I was given is truly appreciated. 

Everyone at the hotel was outstandingly helpful and I can't praise everyone enough.

I was personally asked if I could share any constructive criticism to better the hotel, but my brain could only think of positive things to contribute in this respect. All praises and thanks, my only advice -- keep doing what you do, it's great!

I hope to return to Dubai with my wife in the near future and I don't have to think twice about what hotel to stay in. It's the only place I would recommend to everyone. 

Please tell everyone that you have a NUMBER ONE fan here in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 

That very special atmosphere you all promote so gently, and so naturally, was much appreciated and makes all the difference.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Very low key and well located Hotel. Good service. Ideal for people who want comfort and convenience at a reasonable price. The food outlets are pretty basic. Rooms are pretty good size and very comfortable
