It was actually a nice room, but one that left the cleanliness to be desired! That's why we didn't feel comfortable at all. Running without shoes was unthinkable. Even the pool and the surrounding area was unforgivable. The only positive thing was the proximity to the mall.

One night before departure

Booked it last minute as our apartment was not ready to move into. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment. The place was extremely small and tried to cram everything into one small space, i.e dining table, 2 sofas, TV kitchen, toilet. No room to walk around the apartment without having to move furniture. Air conditioning was loud, room was cleanish but looked dirty, hotel pool was locked and not monitored during the day and lacked sun loungers of any sort. Gym was small and basic. Room was over priced. I immediately checked out of the hotel and shocked that this place had such a high review score for what it offers in comparison to other far better hotels in this area. We left immediately, after much discussion with the manager who insisted I pay full amount for 8 nights booked but I agreed to pay only 1 night. I was still charged the full amount on my credit card and am waiting a refund from booking.com. Pros it is next to the Mall of the Emirates. Cons; unclean, noisy, lacking in hospitality.

Over-rated!!!

Sometime in July 2015, me and my partner decided to travel to Dubai for a bit of a change in surroundings..He tried to search online using booking.com and was surprised to see a very promising offer from Montana Hotel...would you imagine from AED 2,500 to AED 600 for 2 days...seemed a good catch right..I was so excited to travel that weekend to relax in a luxurious one bedroom hotel apartment and I was already imagining how lovely the place would be...arrived in Dubai and in front of the Hotel, me and my partner made a face with each other as we were trying to analyze if the hotel in front of us was the Montana Hotel as we were shocked by how it looks...normal building, no scenery, covered by lots of buildings...was upset..then here we are trying to check in (by the way my visa is on process as i renewed my papers and the only proof I have from the Municipality is copy of my application for Emirates ID which I consider good enough to show people that I am a legal resident of UAE plus I have my renewed Health Insurance and valid UAE driving license).  In the reception, my partner almost lost his temper explaining that we came from Abu Dhabi and we need a place to stay.  They insisted that it is not allowed in Dubai to show the Emirates ID application only and they even checked with Municipality or Hotel Administrators (I dont know if this is just a show off) after a stressful encounter with the disrepectful Manager and Receptionist we were allowed to enter the building...In the parking...my goodness we did not imagine how small the parking space was, a 4 x 4 Infiniti trying to squeez in ( imagine it took us 35 minutes to get out of the building due to poor supervision of the parked cars and I even went out of the car in the swealtering heat to guide my partner to maneuver the car).  Here we are going to our room...when we opened the door...WE WERE TOTALLY SHOCKED...IT WAS NOT THE ONE WE IMAGINED HAVING A PRICE OF AED 2,500.  It wont pass as 4 star!!! maybe 2 stars!!! The room was so small, the kitchen utensils were not complete, smelly couch and pillows (as if 1 year passed and never been cleaned), the toilet was filthy and was not able to use the tub as it was so dirty you wouldnt dare to have a dip.  The hose also was damaged, the  curtains was not black out so if you love a dark room then you will get stressed here...I promised that I will never come back to this place and I even encourgae my friends not to visit this hotel as they will only have a disastrous stay for sure!!!

My Worst Nightmare!!!

I was in Dubai on business and for a change decided to try out a hotel apartment. I did need all of the fancy restaurant and the overpriced location of the general tourist so decided to stay in a moderately priced property. 

I chose Montana and it was just what I needed. It was newly opened and the staff was friendly and professional. My room was perfect for me with a nicely furnished sitting room area, dining table and a separate bedoom. 

There was a full kitchen with a washing machine so it was really convenient. 

For the price it was perfect for what I needed. The full kitchen allowed me to cook my own meals and saving the cost on expensive eating out.  It even had a balcony although don't expect a view.

For a small family traveling on a budget or for those on a business trip its a good choice.

Ideal Stay for the Business Travler

Booked a deluxe one-bedroom apartment for one night. The room is pretty average although spacious enough for a small family. It has a kitchen as well but utensils, pots and pans are quite run down. Bathroom was pretty basic. The bed is nice and huge.
Over all it is average in rating even if the location is great and accessible to the Mall of Emirates. Staff were very nice too. 
Decent place for a low budget traveler like me.

Average, Good location though

the stay at Montana hotel apartments is just an average experience. The only plus point being its close proximity to the Mall of the Emirates. There was a musty smell when we entered the room. The AC in the bedroom was very noisy and spoiled our sleep at night. Many utensil items are missing in the kitchen which shows lack of attention. House keeping service is not trained because they missed replacing the towels. Running hot water often went warm
