If you're thinking of staying here, please don't. I'm not sure how anyone else has given this place a 4 star review. It's tired, dirty and the furnishings have holes in them. We paid £220 for a night and told them the standard of the room wasn't as expected and we weren't prepared to sleep there. When we left they said they would give us a full refund, however months on they have refused to do so. I never leave reviews, but feel compelled to do so on this occasion. Disgusting.

They took our money despite offering a refund!

We have just returned from our 33rd stay at Brantridge Park since Xmas 2008, and had booked for Xmas 2016 but have had our reservation cancelled as Brantridge has now been sold and will close permanently on 4th of December.

We will sadly miss staying there. I would compare Brantridge to a very elderly Dowager Duchess sitting in a corner, somewhat tired and careworn, living with the memories of past greatness but still reflecting signs of what had once been. Not everyone perhaps fully appreciated the positive aspects but it always provided comfortable hospitality and good value for money.

It always offered a warm, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and the air of faded gentility was all part of its intrinsic charm.

The staff could not have been more helpful or supportive in meeting our requirements, sometimes and short notice and we felt we had become part of “the Brantridge family”. Unfortunately they now face a Xmas with some uncertainty.

Hopefully the new owners will breathe new life into the estate, which has always had considerable, if unrealised potential, and we wish them every success in its new incarnation.

There are probably no other properties in the area offering the same advantages.

Going, going,gone!

Not sure anybody except the unfortunate staff will care but this place is now being neglected, the staff have been decimated and the maintenance shows it
The rest of the staff are on notice and I think Dec3 is the closing date
Making the booking and making adjustments to the booking was simplicity itself, as was check in and check out, otherwise it is hard to find really good things to say
There was somewhere between zero and nothing in terms of wifi in the mews cottage(s), furniture was threadbare and well past supporting the weight of a human
I will not go on and on, this maybe of help to anyone planning a visit in November 

Now in neglected mode

I was with my boys in this beautiful villa with a park in June 2014. We were great: the apartment (number 6, in the main villa) was huge, with 2 bathrooms, a very British balcony, a perfectly equipped kitchen (even with the washing machine!), 2 huge bedrooms. The park outside is huge, with wild rabbits and pheasants that occasionally pop out of the grass: wonderful.

Amazing.

The park is splendid: wildflowers, squirrels, peacocks, raccoons... situated between Brighton and London. After a day's visit, we were very happy to find our cottage, very comfortable and quiet, close to a small town with all the shops and stations.

relaxation

We came to several for the first time at six in November 2012 and we came back again at 16 in October 2013... It's really top quality and excellent price ratio... the type of apartment I recommend for a guaranteed displacement at a lower cost... The apartments are very large, it's nickel to get to London by transport (with a car to move around the country) and the hospitality and perfect... and in addition to the group gaming room and perfect... Go on!!!

Brilliant as a group

From Sicily I booked this wonderful hotel for three nights reading the reviews on Tripadvisor as the conclusion of a 10-day total defeat in London at the end of August looking for more than a place near Gatwick Airport (about 15 km). With my family (children aged 7 and 3 years) we rented the car from the waterloo station around London station and in 1 hour for traffic we arrived at Brantridge Park (only 15 minutes instead of the airport we are leaving). On arrival we were left speechless, the house and the adjacent cottages are in a beautiful park outside of time and space.

Unforgettable, wonderful and perfect for a family

a charming mansion in a quiet place, ideal for resting. a staff is listening and compete to have a vehicle because the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere in the beautiful English countryside. very pleasant and relaxing, I recommend it.

in the perfect calm to rest

Brantridge Park is nice, in the countryside. The apartment we rented in August, is spacious, in the English style, and functional. The only negative point, it lacks blinds, the hidden curtains, do not stop the light, and therefore very awakened tot.

Absolutely recommended for the atmosphere, the charming, sealed apartments and all the comfort we could get. We went for a week in February 2009, we had a very favorable, sunny weather. Ideally located to visit London, Brighton etc. We didn't have a car because we weren't used to driving on the left. So we called a taxi to take us to Three Bridges Station. The park is beautiful, there were the three peacocks walking freely, rabbits, squirrels and beautiful birds. It's relaxing, unpalatable and restful as a site. We took advantage of the indoor swimming pool. Provide a minimum of products for the start or order the shopping cart from the residence.
