Comfort, clean facilities and truly exceptional hospitality. Breakfast is excellent, quality and generous. Another big thank you to our host, and to Fiona for her homemade jams. A small village worth visiting to discover Ornum House.;-)

It's perfect. I recommend it.

The location is nice and quiet with good countryside views and easy to get to. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming making the booking in process quick and easy. The room was very well laid out and far from basic and was spotlessly clean.  the bed was nice and comfortable and I had a good nights sleep which was what I needed and booked for following a fairly lengthy journey to to get there.

The breakfast menu was extensive; I went for the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon which was extremely tasty and highly recommended. All in all, the stay was very pleasant  and good value for money. Would I come back? yes. Would I recommend Ornum House? Definitely.

It was lovely experience staying at Ornum house.Fiona is a welcoming host & so attentive.Home baking & fresh milk/ water in mini fridge adds personal touch.The modern ensuite bedroom was huge & immaculate. Guest are welcome to use spacious sitting room / dining room with cosy wood burner & beautiful views from large bay windows.
Location feels remote but only short drive from Beully & 20 - 30mins from Inverness.Views on Beuly firth nearby are lovely.Altogether this was a superb place to stay.

Lovely visit

We stayed with Fiona while travelling the NC500. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Home made shortbread in the room, which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Home made bread and preserves. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend !

Beautiful house and gardens

Host very pleasant and knowledgable.

Room was a bit small but adequate. I could hear other people in adjoining rooms though, but not enough  to bother us.

I highly recommend staying at Ornum House. Both the house and garden is beautiful. I spent the majority of my day reading in the tranquil garden, surrounded by little birds and with a deer in the field opposite. The bed was comfy and the en-suite was very large! The cooked breakfast was delicious and the fruit bowl containing fruits grown on site was a wonderful touch. The host was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. There was even homemade shortbread in my room on arrival! It was a wonderful stay!

Wonderfully relaxing stay

My friend and I stay regularly at Ornum House for a local festival close by.
Fiona and Ellis are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts and such a lovely couple.
Ornum House is incredibly comfortable and homely with all the little extra's you could wish for, fresh milk and home baked goods to welcome you in the room, daily top notch breakfasts, scrumptiously clean rooms and Fiona will go out of her way to accommodate your every need.
She very kindly gave us a lift to the festival which was very much appreciated.
Hopefully see you next year guys.

Fabulous as always..!!

Warm welcome, lovely bedroom  and bathroom, home made biscuits left in the room, great views from bedroom and breakfast room. Breakfast was top notch, home grown rhubarb and yoghurt before a fantastic full English and followed by home made marmalade on toast. Highly recommended.

Brilliant one night stay

Very quiet, cozy and clean room (for us ok, some others may be too small) and great breakfast (also a large selection). Nice host, lots of parking and a very nice area. From here you can get to Inverness relatively quickly by car and can explore everything from there.

Good start for the Inverness area.

Me and my partner stayed at the b&b as a last minute decision when travelling back down to Inverness! We didn’t arrive til 9 o’clock on the Wednesday evening as we only booked  30 minutes prior. On entry I was greeted by the lovely chatty host! She made us feel very welcome and we were given a multiple choice breakfast menu for the following morning which is great considering I am a picky eater! 
Fiona showed us to our room which was number 1- it was very clean and tidy with a kettle and plenty of hot drink making condiments! The room came with a mini fridge with a large glass bottle of water and a small milk jug with full fat milk. The bed was comfy and the sleep was great! 
The breakfast was spot on! I had the vegetarian haggis and I could of eaten it all day! Absolutely spot on! Would highly recommend!
