My wife and I stayed for one night to break our journey south from Edinburgh.  We were received with great friendliness although it was late evening by the time we arrived.  The place was immaculate, and the breakfast was excellent.  The bed was comfortable and we slept soundly, but heavier curtains to keep out the morning light would have been welcome.  The farm is in a remote and quiet setting about half a mile off the road.
Strongly recommended as a homely, unpretentious and quiet B&B.

Excellent B&B

Stayed for three nights while attending the local BAAFEST music festival (also highly recommended). The breakfasts were delicious, the accommodation comfortable, and returning at almost midnight was not a problem (but very dark).

The facilities in the bedroom were fine, the shower worked well and the bed had an electric blanket (not required during our stay).

Hoping to do a repeat visit next year.

Wonderfully remote yet only a mile from Bellingham

A nice little stop at the farm in operation at the bottom of the valley: sheep, chickens, birds in the garden perfectly maintained; very bright room and bathroom and impeccable cleanliness, good local produce for breakfast and our hostess took the time to chat with us about rural life

Stopped here for four days as I was a coach driver on a 4 day tour of the area and really enjoyed my stay here lovely hosts and location on a working farm and breakfast was really nice i would recommend stopping here 

Lovely stay

I stayed here after walking over 20 miles from Greenhead on the Pennine Way. The welcome was as warm as the room. Throw in a delicious breakfast and a free shuttle service to and from the pub in Bellingham and this is an excellent bet for walkers. By staying here, you also shorten your longest day by a mile or so and start with a nice stroll into the village the next day.

B&B on a working farm with a warm welcome. The rooms are best described as traditional but they are clean, comfy and warm. We stayed as part of a trip to Kielder observatory which is just over 30 minutes drive away. Our stay was rounded off with a lovely English breakfast in the morning.

Welcoming B&B

An excellent farmhouse B&B, with a very warm welcome on a soggy, boggy day.  
The rooms were clean, warm and very comfy with plenty of space for weary walkers and the offer of drying waterproof gear and space for boots.
Excellent shower facilities and for those of you who still love a bath and the end of a days walk, one of the rooms our walking group stayed in provided this :).
Lovely breakfast room with a sheltered walled garden with plenty of birds to watch while enjoying a very tasty breakfast.
Our group really enjoyed our nights stay, thank you so much.

Walking the Pennine Way

Excellent hosts who were very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, They were keen to tell us about the farm and let us watch the sheep shearing. Comfortable room and excellent cooked breakfast,
