Stayed one night with my husband and we had dinner, bed and breakfast.  The food, ambience, service and room all 10/10.  Just a bit miffed at breakfast.  I went for the Florentine/Royale Benedict (which was delicious btw) although I was a little disgruntled to be informed on checking out that I had to pay an extra £3 for the salmon.  The waitress pointed out that with the American pancakes the menu states that if you add bacon there is a £3 surcharge and this should also be written on the menu in relation to the Florentine/Royale Benedict but was omitted at print.  It wasn't the waitress' fault although she did forget to point this out to me. For the small amount of salmon that I did receive I didn't think it justified paying an extra £3.  My other grievance about breakfast is that there wasn't any other extras.  Usually you order your main breakfast and whilst you are waiting for that to be cooked you can help yourself to breakfast cereals, croissants, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts etc.  There was nothing extra.  At £130 per night I felt a little disappointed at any additional cold options.  They were on the menu but they looked like alternatives rather than options included with the hot breakfasts.  Overall, it is a lovely place and we did enjoy our stay.

Comfortable Stay in a Beautiful Building

Excellent Inn, with hugely frienldy staff, modern comfortable rooms, excellent food and service to match, idea location if visiting RAF coningsby or East kirby. Highly recommend, and would be happy to book again.

The rooms are kept clean and, although pets are allowed, the staff do their best to make sure the rooms do not smell of animal. 
We found the food to be excellent and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We were served and looked after by a young lady called Kyrie, lovely girl always had a smile on her face, who made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our service. 
The outdoor area was a pleasant area for us to have our evening meal. 
The play area is a great place for entertaining children whilst the parents enjoy a meal & drink.
We would recommend The Leagate Inn to anyone visiting the Lincolnshire area for it's comfortable rooms, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and good food.

This hotel is pretty much perfect - a lovely old building that has been beautifully renovated, with plenty of car parking and outside space to sit (and for the kids to play).  We had a twin room which was spacious, clean and very comfortable.  We also had a really good dinner on a Sunday night - great food served in a very friendly and professional manner by the staff (who were excellent throughout).  They have plenty of vegetarian options, and the pea/spinach risotto was cooked perfectly.  Can highly recommend this place!

Food was wonderful. Nice selection, came out hot and well presented. Lovely surroundings and didn’t feel rushed.  Very friendly members of staff but a particular mention for Lily M who was exceptional. Thank you all and so nice speaking to you Lily 

Wonderful food and service

I seldom give five stars, but this place was faultless. staying for business on a cold february night, this is a welcoming, comfortable, friendly inn with clean comfortable rooms, great food and a brilliant bar. I had dinner- good quality and well prepared, read by the fire with a whisky, slept in a clean comfortable bed, and had a hearty breakfast the next day. So far so good. But the best part of this inn is the responsive and attentive staff. from arrival to departure they were efficient, friendly and made an overnight stay a pleasure instead of a bore. well done

The most incredible hotel restaurant I've ever stayed in!  Comfortable,warm, beautiful, sheer perfection!  Every need catered for by such lovely friendly staff!  Highly recommended!
Will definitely stay again!

Leagate, Coningsby...the best

Following a less than satisfactory Sunday lunch with my family, including my grandchildren, I returned in the evening and explained my disappointment to the deputy manager. Not only was the food of poor quality, but there was numerous piles of dog faeces in the children’s play area, which we noticed just in time. The manager, I realised, had been sitting at the bar. He came over to the lobby and asked me to go outside. He became verbally and physically violent and rang the police, telling them that I was attacked him which was a lie. He physically pushed me on to the road. I was badly shaken by the whole experience. I had only gone to give some constructive feedback but instead became the victim of a nasty attack. I sent a subsequent email to request a civilised chat, but the reply stated that I am banned for life. I was completely sober throughout, but I can only surmise that he was not. 
If you choose to eat there and something isn’t right, please don’t try to complain!

Aggressive Manager

As locals we visit the leagate often sometimes to pop in for a pint and others  for a meal.The food is always excellent and they have a varied selection on the menu,they also have a gluten free ,vegetarian  and vegan menu,on this occasion  Harry and his team went over and above excellent  customer service ,my dietary  needs are a little  complex  being a gluten free vegetarian  I find it really difficult  to eat out ,my husband had pre booked a table and  Harry  had asked the chef to make a meal especially  for me that  suited my dietary  needs  and to follow  the dessert menu  had gluten free options  also .I highly  recommend  giving Harry  and his team a ring if you need special  requirements  as nothing is to much trouble for them .

Awesome food as always

Myself and my children had a wonderful stay at the Leagate Inn recently. I was so impressed by the room, it was just beautiful. And the roll top bath - wow! The inn itself is lovely, the restaurant beautifully decorated with fairy lights and cosy with its log fire, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. I can’t rate it highly enough. In fact we loved it so much we’ve booked to stay again in December!
