We had a fantastic weekend in the Kingfisher cottage. The cottage was lovely, warm and perfectly equipped so we could just relax and celebrate - the underfloor heating downstairs was a treat. The views from the cottage are far-reaching, once the fog had cleared, with plenty of walks, short and long, right from the cottage - no need to use a car if you dont want. The local pub did decent food and a nice pint of Guiness.

Birthday break

A beautiful B&B set in lovely countryside. The room we had was really nice and cosy. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for my wife and I and our little one in the cot they kindly provided. The owners were lovely and cooked us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. They even let our little girl see their chickens and pigs as we were leaving. We stayed in the bed and breakfast but they also have holiday cottages available. We’ll definitely stay again. 5 stars!!

Fantastic stay - Thank you!

A lovely place, well kept and in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and views. We stayed in a suite in the main B&B building which was essentially a cottage just for the two of us, with a bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and garden. Our breakfast was included and was delicious. They were flexible catering to our tastes (extra egg for my fiancé and no meat for me). The service was excellent. Very good value for money, we couldn't fault it.

Beautiful place

We stayed at Drake Cottage first week in April and had a delightful time exploring Shropshire and downloading from stresses of busy life.

The cottage was cute, well stocked and had very comfortable beds.

Lovely patio from French doors gave picturesque views over the tumbling hills and land of the farm and we enjoyed time early mornings and watching the sunsets.

Cottage had a bathroom to die for with Hollywood mirror and rainfall shower.

We chose a property which was dog friendly and a 2hr walk each day roaming the fields, bridle paths and playing sticks in the pond was simply enjoyable.

Thanks again for accepting us, we will be back

Great little break away

Lovely B&B located in the beautiful countryside. Room was clean, bed was comfy and loved the additional toiletries in the en-suite. Breakfast was 10/10 and had a great selection to choose from. Karen and Keith were most accommodating. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Lovely stay.

W stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of October 2021. This was our first time at the Dinney. We stayed in Lakeview, with views of the garden and beautiful surrounding countryside.
The breakfast was lovely, served in a cosy room . Karen and Keith were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at the Dinney again, we highly recommend the Dinney.

Great views , just idyllic

The Dinney is an upmarket B and B which has been tastefully decorated inside with beautiful gardens outside. Karen and Keith are very friendly and take the time to chat. A lot of love had gone into our room ( Waterside) and it was absolutely spotless. We stay in hotels/ B and B probably once a month and can honestly say it was one of the cleanest. We did feel our room was very small and would have suited a single person better. A chair blocked the hanging space for clothes ( cupboard) and had to be moved each time you needed something. There was nowhere in the room to leave anything personal such as a bag as you could just about walk around the bed. We did see another room upstairs which didn't overlook the lake and it was definitely bigger. Bathroom was much the same, very small but  modern and very clean.  If you like a harder bed you will sleep well. We found it too hard and didn't sleep well but everyone is different. Another guest said she'd had the best nights sleep in years. Breakfast was pleasant but average. The dining room overlooks the beautiful garden and was a wonderful place to sit. The Dinney is very dog friendly and there are some lovely walks from the accommodation. Would recommend the Castle Inn for an evening meal.

Up market B and B

We cannot recommend The Dinney highly enough, we stayed for 2 nights in the The Garden Suite which for a start was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. We took our labradoodle Floyd who got on well with the friendly dogs they had there, there are some amazing walks and scenery right on the doorstep. Along with the setting and views at The Dinney, everyone was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was spot on!! A very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic place been there 3 times now this time we stayed in the rookery it was big and beautifull we will be back next year the small places are also nice only one not stayed in is the kingfisher bridgenorth is a small little town but has a lovely market on the street on a Saturday .

The dinney chelmarsh

Felt very comfortable and safe. Stayed in the Drake cottage, for a week, excellently equipped and very comfortable with fantastic views over Chelmarsh. Lovely walks for our dog and many pubs  ( good Covid security ) nearby, mostly serving traditional pub grub. Loved it so much going back for a long weekend in January.
