Our second break at Frog Street Farm. It was as good as remembered from last year. The house is amazing, beds very comfortable. Amenities first class. The hot tub and indoor pool are great and we'll maintained. The barbacue hut is an amazing space. Already booked for next year. Looking forward to our next visit.

Weekend break

If you want to enjoy some privacy, peace, laughter and fun with your friends STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. 

Right from arrival our party was harried by the anal owners whom live IN THE SAME BUILDING as where we stayed (this by the way was not mentioned to us prior). We enjoyed zero privacy as the garden was constantly being spied on by the owners.

The myriad of quite frankly petty rules for such a large (and incredibly pricey) property meant that our group was constantly treading on eggshells for the duration of our short stay. Rules included: inside by 11pm, no wine glasses on the deck, close the hot tub cover, put the covers back on the furniture. If you think these rules sound unreasonable just wait until you hear the punishment for breaking them.

After the night of a few drinks outside, our Big Brother owners meticulously examined the “fallout” of evening before and discovered: a few broken glasses, some cigarette ends, and other minor wear and tear issues that should be expected when hosting a large party. What would one expect for such infringements? A light telling off? A warning that damage might come out the deposit? How about an EVICTION AND CALL TO THE POLICE. Yes, for these misdemeanours we were evicted from the property and the police were called on us.

It’s safe to say that our weekend, which we were so greatly looking forward to, was completely ruined by petty, megalomaniacal, unscrupulous owners looking to profiteer off the back of “COVID rules”.

If you have been warned. STAY AWAY FROM FROG STREET FARMHOUSE, lest you go to prison for enjoying a glass of wine on a deck.

A crime for breaking a glass of wine???

Family break for a long weekend. Cannot speak highly enough of Frogstreet Farm. The house is perfect, clean and has everthing you can ask for. The swimming pool and hot tub are fantastic. The barbacue hut are a delight. All the family had a weekend to remember.

Long weekend break

Just home from our annual family holiday and stay at frog street farmhouse.  The house was amazing as were the hosts.   The spa, jacuzzi and bbq lodge were fabulous and such fun.  The house is perfect for families of all ages, very clean and well equipped.  The house is about 1 mile to a good local pub so is in a very peaceful location down a long lane.  Hope to go again in future.

Family gathering

This was our second visit to Frog Street Farmhouse. David and Louise were very welcoming offering a great freshly cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. Back both evenings from our travels to find a fire lit creating a warm cosy atmosphere to relax in before a short walk to The Hatch for a beer or two! Very comfortable and well appointed - a great place to stay either for a lazy break or as a base for exploring!

Cheeky pre-Christmas break

Booked on the day and received very warm welcome - dinner reservation made for us at the local gastro  pub and cosy well equipped bedroom with ensuite - very well decorated and spacious. Lovely farm house with separate guest sitting room and dining room. Great breakfast with choice of cooked options - recommend. 

Overnight stay - excellent

Frog Street Farmhouse is a really lovely B&B, very quiet and peaceful setting in a beautiful house. Lovely room (Garden room) which was spotless, comfy large bed and a great breakfast with homemade bread, jams, eggs from the owners’ hens. Genuine, friendly owners too. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely, tranquil, spotless B&B with fabulous breakfast

The Orchard Suite was perfect for the three of us and I hadn't felt so comfortable in a strange room in a long time. Everything was incredibly tasteful and lovingly decorated. A bathroom like from the picture book: shower and bathtub (everything is incredibly clean, like beautiful and well-flavored toilet accessories). The new bathroom on the evening of bedtime has practically revived me.:-) The Frogstreet house is led with a love of detail and the variety of flowers and beauty is packed together around the house.

Great and exactly what we were looking for...

We stayed for one night in the Garden Room. The farmhouse was beautiful and the welcome was great, very personal. Tea and cake upon arrival was certainly welcomed! Breakfast was fab. Highly recommend this B&B, great value and friendly staff. Tip: book directly.

Lovely one night stay

We stayed here again after a gap of  couple of years and it was just as lovely as we remember - beautifully furnished and immaculately clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. We were welcomed with complementary tea and just-baked cake. As far as luxury b&bs go, they don't come much better than this.
