We stayed here for 2 weeks in September, the staff are sonqelcoming an friendly... the place is clean an tidy an the breakfast is superb. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay In the area. A fantastic little place

Fantastic place for contractors!

Tekels park guesthouse is an old building and the rooms are old style, small and primitive by modern standards.  But the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and warm on chilly winter nights.  For my room there was a shared bathroom.  Despite the guesthouse being busy it was not a problem, a bathroom was always available when I needed one.  The breakfast is good, eggs and bacon cooked by order and cereals and bread avait you in the breakfast room.  Then it is the staff.  They were all extremely positive and helpful people.  Delivering more than you would expect in a hotel or guesthouse.  An example, after my last night I had planned to walk to the train station (15-20 min walk) to get a train to London.  On my way out the woman in the reception insisted on driving my to the train station instead of walking.  I accepted her offer and was delivered at the train station.  This was more thoughtful and generous than I would have expected anywhere on my trips.

This guesthouse is  next to a park and every morning I walked through the park on my way to work and also in the evening on the way back to the guesthouse.  There are many birds and squirrels in and around the park and if you are staying in this area this would be a perfect park to take a bridge camera along to photograph the wildlife.

Old but comfortable.

What a lovely place. Not the most attractive building in the world but a triumph of management who run the place in such a gentle manner. Wonderful gardens.  Good simple breakfasts and coffee and tea on the go. Small guest rooms. Shared WC and bathrooms but plenty of them.  Not too far from Camberley Town Centre but a car best as roads are private and dark. However, put together it's adds up to peace and quiet.

I am not sure if there are any ensuite rooms, but we had a room with a wash hand basin and the shower and toilet were next door on the corridor. The toilet was difficult to flush and took ages to re fill. The beds were very soft, the breakfast was very poor.
1 small piece of bacon, cheap bread toasted, the beans were defiantly not Heinz.
You have to boil the kettle and make your own brew. Poor. I would not stay again.
