We stayed in this apartment as a group of 5 friends. The flat was amazing! It has lovely views from all rooms overlooking the bay, and was clean, spacious and has everything we needed. There was 2 bathrooms which was great for getting ready too. The apartment feels really safe as you cannot get into the complex without a fob key, aswell as being in a great location - there is plenty of supermarkets around, and you’re only a 5 minute drive from Cardiff Bay with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Leigh was great too, we had to rearrange our trip due to Covid and Leigh made sure our booking was still guaranteed for another date, as well as making sure we had space to park our cars securely within the complex. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Amazing week away!

Stayed at bayview for four nights and location was handy and had a parking space for our apartment. We stayed in number 37, the flat is a good size there were three of us and I think four adults would be just right in terms of size of the accommodation. 

We met Leigh at agreed location and he showed us around the flat and talked through facilities. The flat has two bathrooms which is great and both were clean. 

I brought my own bedding out for personal preference but there is adequate bedding and towels provided. WiFi is available and connection was good. 

The gym and pool were closed due to covid and residents were wearing masks in communal areas. 

There are supermarkets nearby and a retail park. You can walk about 20 mins to Welsh Parliament  and there are restaurants and attractions nearby. Cardiff has some beautiful parks such as Bute Park and Roath Park, plus if you have a car go to the Breacon Beacons absolutely lovely area 

I will definitely return to Wales 

Staycation in Wales 

We stayed in Leigh Murphys (luxury) bay view apartment number 37. Prospect House.. 
On arrival into the apartment we unpacked but to our dismay the fridge stank of stale milk. No compartment for milk and hadn’t been cleaned. We cleaned it out before we could put our food in! 
The lounge area was filthy, jam on work surface from previous occupants I guess. Cigarette butts left in make shift ash tray on balcony. Carpet was awful, very dirty, microwave dirty, the list goes on! 
We asked Leigh 3 times to come to apartment firstly to tell him about the fridge, and then about the racid odour from the lounge area. Leigh turned up and told us to leave the balcony doors open 😳😳! And put an air freshener in. Said it might be neighbours cooking with spices. No. The smell was so bad we left on day 4 as it was repulsive. We’d struggled sleeping on a very old fold down bed (stains on bedding and cushions!) and couldn’tcope any longer. 
This was the worst stay I’ve ever had with my family. The 6 bed was not set up for 6, but 4. It was shabby and old not at all luxurious as stated. To top it off LEIGH never told us the swimming pool, gym facilities were closed but still advertised this on his site.☹️
He offered to pay for the use of a nearby pool, which we did as swimmers, and one of the reasons we booked, he has FAILED to compensate us the cost of this!?
This property needs a deep clean and the owner needs to dig deep.

Family

We stayed for a few days over Christmas and were lucky enough to enjoy blue skies, which made the view from the balcony and bedroom windows absolutely lovely. The apartment is clean, well maintained and modern, with everything you could need for a relaxing break. The location was ideal for getting to Cardiff Bay and the town centre, and it was quick to get onto the main road out to the motorway. Morrisons is a couple of minutes away, so you can stock up on food easily. Leigh was a great host and we will definitely be booking again

Excellent few days in this lovely apartment

Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment (No 37) for the weekend, and really enjoyed our stay. Views from the balcony were just great. Well equipped kitchen, good hot showers, everything very clean. Cold weather when we were there, heating very good. Huge TV, great for the winter Olympics! Cheap taxi ride into town or to the main Bay area (taxi driver knew exactly what I meant - 'the building with the writing on'!). We downloaded the Dragon taxis app and they were excellent, very quick service. I slept so well, the beds were very comfortable! Free parking downstairs. WiFi better when near the balcony side of the living room. The best thing of all about our stay was Leigh - great contact before the stay when we had questions, met us at Morrisons (5 mins away) to lead us round to the flat, very nice guy. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment, great views, walking distance to everywhere

My husband and I brought our two boys to see the Rugby and stayed the weekend.  Leigh was very friendly and met us at Morrison's. The apartment was clean, modern and just what we'd hoped for.  Leigh couldn't have been nicer, he took the time to go through the apartment with us and make sure we were happy and settled.  He gave us some great tips for making our way to the Stadium, what a nice guy!  He even left us some milk and biscuits for a much needed cuppa!  A pleasure from start to finish.  We would love to come back again.  Thank you Leigh.

Lovely apartment - friendly and helpful rep - just brilliant!

Stayed here the weekend with 3 mates. Was brilliant! Only about a 5 minute taxi into the centre of Cardiff. There is also a massive Morrisons right next door and a few chain type pubs/restaurants within a 5 minute walk
The apartment has everything you need with spectacular views across the bay. 
The guy that runs the place is really helpful, with plenty of tips on the best places to go in Cardiff 
If I ever visit Cardiff again I will 110% be staying here. Beats a busy hotel in the centre of town for me 

Great base for weekend in Cardiff

My friends and I booked to stay for the weekend as we were down in Cardiff for the Rugby. On arrival we were met and shown to the apartment which was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. The apartment was clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable and the shower excellent. The team at Bayview could not have been more accommodating including offering to take us back into town from the Cardiff Bay as the new we would struggle to get a taxi on matchday. Excellent service.

Really good stay, couldn't be more helpful

This apartment is appalling and is a total misrepresentation of the web site photos.  It is very dirty and really grimy with deep ingrained dirt! The furniture and furnishings are totally different to the web site photos as well as the inferior bed linen, one bed not even having a mattress protector.  It wouldn't have been so bad if the furniture was a different style but of the same quality, but it was all really cheap, with a broken dining room table and settee that was torn and covered over by a stained dirty throw-over.  The windows were filthy with stained curtains.  The whole apartment had an air of total neglect.  It was so bad, that we found alternative accommodation in a busy city on a Saturday night!! If you continue to book Bayview Apartments, please double check that it isn't Apartment 30! I'm not sure about the wifi as we didn't stay long enough to use it.  The owner seems to think that this room is worth £250 a night!
