We have stayed here 3 times and have enjoyed our short stays. Heronshaw House is situated in a quiet country road close to Bournemouth Airport. Its a beautiful house which has kept the characteristics from the past. The rooms are lovely and all your needs are catered for. Mike who is the owner is very helpful and friendly. We have yet to experience the cooked breakfast but that is due to our time scales for the next part of the journey, however the continental breakfast is excellent offering cereals, fresh fruit, juices, toast and tea or coffee. Highly recommended

A lovely house

Amazing house! A lovely area, friendly host and great atmosphere in the house. It is private, with an en-suite in every room. Bed was very comfortable, towels provided and even little soaps and a make up remover. 
Breakfast options were good, lots of fruit and juice. Cooked breakfast was delicious. 

Amazing Hotel!

Fantastic stay, Mike was lovely and ensured we had what we needed in the our rooms, even had some toiletries if we had forgotten (lovely touch)
Fresh coffee, Tea and milk was placed on a try ready for the morning.
Breakfast was lovely the with fresh fruit cereal and toast and cooked breakfast for extra price but cooked lovely and wonderful ingredients used.

Fantastic stay

What a beautiful location and house.
The owner was very helpful and couldn’t have been more accommodating.
Room was stunning, very comfortable, large room. Well stocked for tea and coffee. The comp toiletries was a great addition.
The only slight down maids was there was no TV in the bedroom, however there was a communal lounge with a TV in.
Over all a very pleasant stay, thank you

Wonderful stay

This place is a little gem. Mike is so lovely and nothing was a bother. We arrived early and the rooms were ready so we had access straight away. The rooms are spacious, with lovely chairs to relax in. They were spotless and airy. Heronshaw House in out of the way off the main road through Hurn and next to Bournemouth airport, however, the incoming and outgoing planes were not intrusive, in fact we hardly heard them. We had access to two large lounges and a dining room, in which we were welcome to eat our own food/takeaways and there were tables and chairs available to us outside in the gardens. We were only there one night, but would have gladly stayed longer.  We would advise you to book direct as the cost is less and includes a continental breakfast, we booked through Booking.com and it cost us an additional £25 with no breakfast. We paid £7.50pp for the full English, which also included the continental additions and everything on offer was top quality and well worth the money.  Highly recommended.

This place is a little gem

We enjoyed a lovely couple of nights in this comfortable and welcoming home of Mike and Andrea’s. They have a large 17th century house and our rooms  were tastefully decorated with beautiful en-suites and plenty of lovely towels. Nothing was too much trouble for Mike and Andrea who were on hand if we needed them. The more than adequate breakfasts were cooked to perfection by Mike. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay - we will return.

Our lovely weekend break in a quiet countryside location.

We had the most wonderful time at Heronshaw House, and would highly recommend it.
We stayed for 2 nights to attend a family wedding at Sopley Church and onto Parley Manor. The location was ideal and it was possible to walk back to collect our car from Parley Manor the following morning.
The hosts Andrea and Mike were friendly and helpful whilst having such an easy going attitude that made our stay really enjoyable and relaxing.
Our room was very comfortable and had all the things you may want such as hairdryer, fan, tea and coffee with fresh milk, the usb socket was a bonus. An ironing board and iron were also readily available.
The breakfasts offered a good selection of cereals, fruit, toast etc and Mikes 'Full English' was excellent.
It was lovely to be able to sit in the garden with a cup of coffee and a book after waking up early one morning, just enjoy the wildlife and peaceful surroundings.
We would definitely stay again having enjoyed it so much.

Perfect place to stay

This guest house was extremely comfortable and good value.  Friendly reception, access to internet, all the goodies you might hope for both in the bathroom and the bedroom.  Very quiet.  Excellent breakfast. 
It is a good idea to use GPS as it is quite a way from main roads.  Ideally situated for Bournemouth airport.
There are two sitting rooms (one with tv) and one dining room.

Very comfortable

We received another warm and friendly welcome on our return to Heronshaw house. It’s beautiful, the rooms are well appointed and everything is immaculately clean. The hosts are really attentive. The breakfast is delicious with a good variety of food. The situation is lovely - very quiet and next to beautiful countryside. There is lots to do in the area and it’s well situated. Our dog also got a warm welcome and there are a couple of great, dog-friendly pubs nearby. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

A lovely return visit

We have just spent 2 nights here.  It is a very restful place off the beaten track. 
We liked it so much we have booked to stay again.   It is a wonderful location for New Forest and Hurn Airport. 
Mike produced a wonderful breakfast on both mornings and the bed was extremely comfortable.
