Our daughter's wedding became the perfect fairytale at this outstanding venue. From the very first moment the staff were 100% 'on-point' and the service was exemplary. So many guests commented on the quality of the experience. The rooms were fabulous, the food was excellent and the staff team made us feel very relaxed and very much at home. Simply wonderful!

A magical wedding in a fairytale castle

Carlowerie castle truly encapsulates the pure beauty of Scotland. The hospitality and enviroment at the castle left us speechless and amazed with how beautiful and magnificent it is.
I will highly recommend it as a unforgettable experience for both business, family and friend/ party/ wedding / anniversary venue.

Unforgettable experience!

Carlowrie Castle is a stunning, truley unique venue, with fantastic staff who made planning our dream wedding easy right from the start. When we first ventured up to Edinburgh to view venues, we fell in love with Carlowrie as we drove up the long drive. The incredible setting, well managed grounds and beautiful historic, once family home, Carlowrie Castle has it all. With the seasonal changes of the grounds and the venue, it certainly is magical whatever time of year you get married! 
On our first visit, we were greeted at the door with smiles and taken through to the lounge where we felt this venue already had a personal touch. A tour of the venue and grounds followed, and we were blown away by the facilities on offer. The traditional exterior, with a refurbished modern interior was amazing. No matter what questions we asked regarding rooms, facilities, and the usual wedding questions, the staff at the venue were able to answer them. We soon realised that Carlowrie was the venue for us and we got our date booked in. 
Having booked in the date, any queries or visits we wanted to do were answered and accommodated. The staff were always no more than an email or phone call away. As our date approach 6 months, full wedding mode happened, with menu tastings, planning meetings and plenty of contact from the team. The staff were always so helpful, with Jen always able to help solve any tricky problems or questions we had. 
On the day itself, the team were professional, well-rehearsed and always present. They really did put us at ease, my wife was able to relax and have nothing to do, as it should be! The teams lead by Ailsa and Ronin were incredible in their manner with our guests, the professionality and swift turnaround skills when changing over the room from ceremony to dinner and their flexibility when small things needed to change. We could not have asked for a better day. No task was too minor and they made sure the venue was as we wanted before guests arrived and before dinner. 
The appearance of the venue can speak for itself, but the hospitality offered and quality of food and beverage were impeccable. 
We had a fantastic wedding day at Carlowrie, who were really accommodating, no question was too much. The team kept in communication, the day ran smoothly thanks to their hard work, and most importantly we had our dream wedding to remember.  

Magical wedding to remember

I had my wedding at Carlowrie Castle and it was a truly magical experience. I loved how unique it was on the inside but quite traditional on the outside. I loved all the garden space that we could use and the Orangery where I had my wedding was beautiful. The Carlowrie staff were always kind, quick to respond to questions, and very helpful on the day of the wedding. 

Great Wedding experience

We just arrived home after 48 hours celebrating my wife’s birthday with friends and family that had flown in from as far away as Australia and UAE. Nobody was disappointed! The property is immaculate, the grounds are spectacular and the staff are fist class.

Amazing Birthday

We were lucky enough to have been invited to a wedding in this stunning venue. From arrival to departure everything ran smoothly. The staff are very professional and made sure we felt looked after. Wr were met at the bottom of the stairs as soon as we arrived and then a few minutes later shown to our rooms. 

We have multiple food allergies and the waiting staff knew exactly who was to be served what. The food was outstanding 
Breakfast was fabulous (especially the smoked salmon) and again our dietary needs were recognised and like clockwork the coffee pot was filled up almost as soon as it was empty

We stayed in the converted stables ( the Rowan suite).the furnishings are luxurious  and the rooms spotlessly clean. The only disappointment was that there were no drinking glasses ( not even in the bathroom) and no tea/coffee making facilities. 
The whole experience was amazing. 
I would just like to say Congratulations and thank you to your amazing staff .

Beautiful wedding

We had our wedding here in late May 2023 and we were blown away by the venue and the staff.  Ronin and Ailsa looked after us so well on the day and we had the most magical day start to finish. There was a number of ways they went above and beyond for us - Ronin even arranged for the staff to get me some Bonjella from off site as I had burnt my mouth prior to the wedding which was a huge relief as I had lost mine on the run up to the wedding. Ailsa was so organised helping me sort my dress and also with coordinating the walk down the aisle.  We were lucky enough to get married outside and the only downside I would say was the impact on your shoes due to the gravel (a carpet would have been most useful!).
The food was fantastic and all the vendor recommendations from the venue made the day just perfect. I genuinely cannot fault anything about the venue or the staff. The next day the breakfast was also fantastic and all my family commented on how wonderful the food was so thank you to the catering staff.

We loved every minute of our stay - only sad thing was it was over far to quickly. I would love to go back and do it all again.

Perfect venue for a fairytale wedding

We were lucky enough to have our wedding day at Carlowrie Castle last week and it was outstanding!! 

Everything from decor, the grounds, staff and food is AMAZING! 

Carlowrie was the only venue we viewed and we were instantly sold. The contemporary castle with modern decor was exactly what we were looking for. 

The day ran so smoothly thanks to Ailsa and nothing was too much to ask. All the guests commented on how efficient the staff were.

We had an amazing day and can’t thank all the staff at  Carlowrie Castle enough - a day we will never forget!

Our Wedding Day

We traveled from the United States for wedding at the Castle this past weekend and it was beyond any expectations I could have imagined.  First off, from the moment we walked through the doors the staff were great.  ALL OF THEM!!!   So professional. Above and beyond. Now onto the rooms. WOW.  I am used to luxury (for a point of reference) and the rooms were beautiful and welcoming. 

The wedding was perfect from start to finish. ,!

Perfect wedding venue

I was here for a wedding and stayed overnight as well.  Our room was spacious, lovely and the staff were excellent. The castle grounds are beautiful, with lots of room to explore- we were lucky enough to even see some newborn Highland cows and talk with their caregiver a bit. This place is truly a once-in-a-lifetime place to visit; although I'd gladly stay again on return visits to Scotland.
