Check in was awful and took over an hour as it was busy and looked under staffed. The automated check in did not work and advised us to use the manual check in system. One per person run off there feet.
The room was not ready as the additional bed for my daughter was not made up and there were only towels for one person. There were 3 of us in a family room. This was quickly resolved by the hotel.

Breakfast was great and a good price as my daughter ate for free.
The beds are lovely and comfy as you expect and it was nice and quiet. We all got a good nights sleep.

The room was fairly clean, but the bathrooms are getting a bit tired and there was hair in the plug hole of the shower/bath.

It's a Premier Inn so you get a good night sleep

I like Premier Inn, because you know what you get.
Soft pillows and a great night sleep!
Even that it was a really busy time, we have a great night, quiet, the team friendly and rooms clean 
We always choose this hotel when we go to Edinburgh

Short trip to Edinburgh

This is the worst experience I have ever had in over 40 years of staying in hotels.
We were travelling to Edinburgh from London and due to poor weather in Scotland all trains were cancelled.
I returned to my son's house as we were told to travel the next day.
I phoned the hotel seven times in three hours to say we would not be arriving, no one answered the phone. I phoned head office, very helpful lady but she also couldn't reach the hotel reception. I emailed the hotel twice but again no reply.
I continued trying to reach the reception the following day on the train up to Edinburgh. No reply.
We were stressed and concerned that we could lose our rooms. When we arrived they had lost our booking but I had proof so they allocated two rooms
My son and his partner went to there room only to find it full of someone else's luggage. Reception blamed the new system, still no apology and no response to our question re answering the phone at reception. I spoke to the manager who allocated a second room to my son assuring us it was freshly cleaned and was actually in my name. Upon entering it too had someone else in there. Security is appalling, their booking system is clearly useless.
Eventually after an hour we had our two rooms.
My concern is that nobody answered the phone or email. No offer of compensation for stress caused and non existent security as we twice were given keys to rooms already occupied, good job we were not thieves!
I would never stay here again.


Worst Experience in a Premier Inn 

Great location, short walk to station and main sights 
Great breakfast (appreciated the staff taking allergies seriously).
This room was a bit more tired than last time. We also needed to ask for our daughters bed to be made up. 
Staff here are always super helpful. 
Great to leave our bags before checkin and after checkout. 

Great stay 

I've been to three Premier Inn's in the last few weeks and this was the best one, quick check-in, chocolate on the bed and quiet in the evening, even though it was across the street from a construction site.

Recommended Premier Inn

Very good situation, quiet, clean, continental breakfast and dinner perfect. Very good bed, spacious rooms, big TV screen. Free WiFi doesn't work very well. Very friendly staff

Hotel to recommend

A very good option, without doubt the best, supercentric, just on the side of Waverley, the habitation, without being anything from the outside world, very accurate, clean and spacious.

The ideal choice is the ideal choice.

I've never read anywhere before, however, that the room is only cleaned or towels exchanged when you sign in...that's something I've never experienced in a hotel before. Well, no matter how we signed in and...nothing happened. That's not supposed to be. I pay for a hotel and then it's okay if I want to have new towels every other day...otherwise ok, good location, right between old and new town. Breakfast typical...bacon, baked beans, mirror beans and finished croissants.

Everything is perfect!!!!!!!!!Location in Edinburgh, ease of arrival, cleanliness, kindness of staff, continental breakfast, state of the facilities, lighting....We will repeat without a doubt a dudass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
