My room was tiny for a family room paid over 400 pound for 2 beds when there was 4 of us overall not really good wouldn't go back I don't think for the money you pay you don't get the service disappointed.

Room tiny

Friendly staff.Great location.Rooms large and airy.Clean.We were a Group of 5 families with small children and was perfect , ideal for  couples, solo travellers. Would  definitely stay again.No noise which was a pleasant surprise too.

Great location to visit Edinburgh

A clean cozy base to head off from into the hogmanay experience. This hotel is a stones throw from the princes Street Gardens entrance. As a solo female traveler the direct straight route back in the early hours on New Year’s Day was a very pleasant walk.

It's an honest place, room in the middle, hot water and heating, little towels and no extra cleaning, great location considering it's 15 minutes from downtown and only 8 minutes from the bus stop connected to the airport.

No infamy or praise

Stayed here as a family of 3 for over the New Year period. The hotel location was ideal for the NYE celebrations, walking distance from train station and the street party and Christmas markets. Room was a small family room, decent size for 2 nights, clean and temperature fine. Room 110 overlooked the main street but surprisingly it was not noisy at all. Elevators were quick.
If staying here for 1 or 2 nights the rooms are good value for money. We were able to leave our luggage when checking out aswell and check out isn't until 12pm so again no rush which is perfect.
Only negative I found were the pillows were rock hard but overall for location and value I would recommend a stay. Staff very helpful too. 

NYE staycation

Well, for that price class and the location it was very good, goed service, friendly team. Unfortunately the hotel has no lounge and restaurant but there are enough cafes, restaurant and lounge places beside the hotel 

Price, service and location are very good

Very good location hotel clean friendly people in a land full of history the city seems fairy tale and this hotel is strategically located to know all the points of interest and very close to the train station.

Melanio is the name of Melanio.

The hotel is simple but clean and has no interior or exterior noise, a small but adequate room, friendly and efficient staff, very well situated and isolated from the nighttime noise of the city.

Simple yet clean.

Our travelodge was well located and accessible for transportation. Nice photos on the site but the reality is less. Small room for two, no place to put your luggage. The breakfast box is well made, there's just a little chocolate missing in it.

Well located but small for two people

Really enjoyed my stay of four nights at this hotel. Excellent location, clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Made a great base for exploring Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
