This was the worst Premier I have stayed in. Breakfast although nicely cooked was always tepid or cold. Poor selection of evening meals although they were cooked to order and were always piping hot.
The room was small but comfortable. The downside was NO opening windows, just aircon - no substitute for fresh air. 

Not the best Premier Inn

Quiet stay with a sea view. I arrived late , 1am due to a delay, the ladies on reception were very professional friendly. I upgraded for the premier plus room which was outstanding. Floor to ceiling windows and comfy arm chairs to watch the world go by. 10/10 breakfast.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Always a pleasure to stay here. The breakfast is great value and really good quality.
It's a shame the premium rooms on floor two are not available to family's! Especially as the family's then end up in the rooms above so any noise is amplified!

Great stay again

A great find. Stayed for one night on way to  Cornwall and would certainly stay again. Right on sea front with a pleasant bar and restaurant it provided a cosy comfortable place to sit on a wild wet January evening.
The rooms were clean and warm.
Above all the staff we met were delightful,professional and made our stay beyond our expectations.

Great value stay on  the seafront

If you like premier inn this will not disappoint,  They're largely all the same and this is no exception.  Good location on the sea front and parking overnight was a fiver.   Great!  I was in room 210 - an accessible room. I'm paraplegic and so wheelchair dependant . After dinner with friends on the sea front, I went back to the hotel at around 22.30.  In room 210 the air con, no matter what, would not switch off.  The system went onto full power intermittently whenever it liked . I could not sleep with that.  The front desk could not switch it off either.  

They moved me into another room 208, which was very cold and not an accessible room. The only way I could warm the room up was to subject myself again to the roar from the air con, which I couldn't sleep with.  The saving grace was that the air con in 208 could be switched off.   I decided to cut my losses and stay in 208 and put up with the cold without the noise.  A long story short I had to stay on the sofa, as i couldn't safely transfer onto the bed in 208, which was much higher than the accessible bed in 210.   I also slept in my clothes given how cold it was.  A shower in the morning would have meant going back to room 210 (room 208 did not have an accessible bathroom with space enough for a wheelchair),  and taking a change of clothes etc with me from 208 to 210, in wheelchair, is not straight forward.  

After breakfast (which was OK), at the  front desk I was straight forward in illustrating my experience.   I'd had around 4 hours sleep.  I was told that I would need to take this up with their customer support team and they may offer me something.  I wasn't impressed with that as an option.  After being told several times that the desk could do nothing for me suddenly I was told (by the duty manager), I would be refunded in full.  Not sure where that came from but I was of course receptive, given my experience.  

All in all, not something I can recommend.  I have no criticism of the staff who were on the whole great.  This experience was down to dodgy air con and a complaints process dictated by premier inn.   I've bored myself writing this but I think it worthy of mention...

Not great

Stayed for only one night for a seaside getaway. Service was great as expected from a Premier Inn. Hotel was nice in a good location. Our room decor was ok but a bit tired around the edges. Room cleanliness was ok but attention to detail could have been a little better.

Overnight getaway

Check In - very quick and efficient, greeted by friendly staff

Room-we booked a standard room which had a separate bed for our son. Clean and tidy, enough for the three of us. Bathroom was sparkling clean, enough hangers in the little wardrobe. 
We were lucky enough to get a sea view room which was brilliant. 

We stayed here for one night for our sons 4th birthday. Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel to inform them we were coming to celebrate his birthday. The staff went above and beyond. On arrival in our room he had a birthday card, balloon, chocolates and biscuits waiting for him on his bed which he was very happy about. The following morning when having our breakfast, a staff member who’s name is Lisa C bought over another gift for him which again our son was extremely happy with and we were so so grateful for. 

The staff have gone above and beyond for our sons 4th birthday and we just want to say a huge thank-you to all of you for making it extra special. 

You’d be silly not to book here!

Amazing hotel and staff

Greeted and checked in by a nice young girl called Isobel. Very friendly and chatty and when our takeaway turned up 45 minutes earlier than expected she happily brought it to our room. Room was okay, There was evidence of water damage which had bowed the table, stained the lamp and wooden board behind the Tv. The shower also had a drainy smell to it. Maybe needed some bleach or something to freshen it up. Overall the room was pretty much as expected. 

Warm and Friendly Greeting

This premier Inn is right on the seafront and just a short walk from the town and restaurants/bars. You get the usual standard of room you would expect from them and the staff are very friendly and helpful. 

Right in the centre of things

Not our first visit and the standards and staff (which does not change a lot) are always excellent. Meal Deal is to be recommended as this is excellent value, and can be added at anytime during your stay.
