We stumbled across the three lions back in April, since then we revisited in august and just booked to go back New Year’s Eve! This place is just unbelievably well set out. It’s a perfect all rounder for anyone. The rooms and facilities are very clean the hot tub add on is excellent and the delivery of food/ drink is a god send for us as we have travelled twice with a toddler meaning we can relax in our room without the stresses of eating out with a baby! The food is excellent too, the staff go above and beyond I honestly couldn’t fault The Three Lions at all! We love it! Looking forward to spending New Year’s Eve here too 😊

Hidden gem!

 The Three Lions is a beautiful place, the minute we walked in we were made very welcome.  The staff are excellent and there wasn't anything that was too much trouble for them.  It was so beautifully kept and outstandingly clean.  There is nothing I can say negatively about The Three Lions.  Loved our weekend away there.   We will definitely be returning next year and cant wait.  They are so dog friendly which was a bonus as we took our 10mth old pup Bailey who slipped his leash in the bar but the staff were so good and gathered him up for us.  The view was excellent and the gardens were extremely well kept.  5 stars and would rate more if we could.  The food was excellent and served with a smile.  

Fantastic place

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and would highly recommend it. All staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed in cherry room and it was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was ready for use when we arrived. 
A big plus for us was the hotel being completely dog friendly so our four legged baby could enjoy the weekend with us!
Will definitely be returning to enjoy the crab linguine!

Best pet friendly hotel in the New Forest.

Perfection. We stayed in a room with a private deck & hot tub after we"d dinner there. The meal was amazing & the room was beautiful. An amazing little place set in stunning venue with lovely friendly staff & we are definitely going back ! 

A secret gem in the New Forest

First the good stuff - nice room ,quiet location. Now the rest - rude beyond belief staff, Karina , no eye contact, "change in the toilet, not my problem, come back at 3pm" attitude despite promising to provide somewhere to change before attending a nearby wedding. Dean the chef, shouty angry threatening body language, Velvet the Manager, false accusations of "abuse", which she says she has zero tolerance to - what she actually has is zero tolerance to valid criticism ....and would rather waste her time arguing with customers rather than provide a solution to problems - if all of this is your cup of tea then make a bee line to the The Three Lions :)

Bed Bugs, no wifi, rude staff

Lovely setting in the new forest . Clean and well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds and coffee/tea making facilities. We had a room with a private deck and hot tub, it was amazing. The main building includes a great restaurant and bar. Staff friendly and attentive

Lovely trip to the New Forest

Very young Manager was very rude to a  82
Year old friend of mine. Said he was not going to give him another drink. This arrogant man said don’t drink that bottle of 
Wine here which had jurr set t been given to him by a French visitor. This elderly a gentleman had no intention of opening this gift.
He Manager then said you cannot have another drink! I said don’t talk to your elders like that & he then said “Your Barred”
This was some months ago I visited with family on the 12/6/23 & he said “ Your Still barred!’

Rude Arrogant young Manager

Lovely setting, great choice of food, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, bright and plenty of room. Toilets very clean and tidy with individual cubicles that are unisex. The food was attractively presented. Do check opening as food not always sold daily. On a Friday there is a cocktail hour (or so). A good place to meet for a coffee.

Very Attractive and Comfortable

Stopped off on the off chance. 
Fantastic menu and lovely decor.
The staff were super friendly especially Izzie who was our waitress.
Highly recommend the Fish Platter and tandoori chicken burger.
Will definitely be back soon. Looking forward to enjoying the garden when we finally get some sunshine.

Birthday treat

Location and food menu were very good. Well-placed to explore the New Forest and surrounding towns and villages. Most rooms are external to the main building in modern, clean chalet-type lodges which are well-maintained and within a garden setting.
The only downside for us during our stay was the extremely slow service in the dining room, both at evening dinner and breakfast - positively glacial. This tended to spoil the dining experience; if we requested anything they immediately forgot and had to be reminded again.  'Oh, I'm sorry' seemed to be the constant response. They really need to work smarter and quicker or employ experienced waiting staff.
Having said that, all the staff were polite and friendly.
