The pub has a nice open cozy fire which my dog loved, there is a nice warm friendly atmosphere and happy attentive staff, we had a very pleasant few drinks here on a friday evening,  well worth a visit.

Proper pub

Very pleased to say that the Full Moon Inn is under new ownership.  A great start has been made and once more the friendly convivial atmosphere has now  been fully restored. Currently open every day for drinks and snacks only.

We attended two great events here this month, that were very well supported by the community, and we had a great time.  The new owners and staff are all friendly and helpful.

There will be more to come in 2020 as this historic Inn returns to provide a fully functioning restaurant, accommodation etc.

Now under new ownership

We have had the pleasure of meeting Kate and John on several occasions now. and you could not wish to meet two more charming and hospitable hosts. We wish them both every success in bringing this lovely old pub back to life.

Lovely atmosphere

What a brilliant night last Saturday. Live Music (Tom with his banjo), food, great vibe and lovely country pub. Look out for the next session its worth  the visit.
The pub's been painted since my last visit and some TLC applied.

Music at the FullMoon

This country pub is a nice place to drink the young lady behind the bar is very nice but has a tendency disappearing and leaving customers waiting!

it's a shame it just a pub with no food or Accommodation and pub formal called the full moon is run down and falling down.

It used to have a nice white front however the new owner stripped all the paint off the front of the building making it like even more run down.

The pub is usually open Wednesday to Saturday however lately it's been closed!

The locals are very nice people it a shame the pub has letting them down it's the only place to drink because the next pub in over a mile outside the village.

The moon pub in rudge with NO Accommodation

well, we visited last week as we hadn't been here for a very very long time. the building is in need of work. the bar was in need of work, the car park... was in need of work. apparently the owners are doing things up slowly? it wouldn't hurt to get the beer taps fixed on the bar, or get new or just make them look nice as they were cracked or the faces missing and looked a mess. the beer lines also need a clean as both cider and lager were cloudy as well as the beer!!
 the menu which is just Tapas, with a couple of burgers, is a bit short, i know too much is bad also but there isn't a great deal of choice. it maybe evident why there were only two other diners apart from ourselves when we visited. however the food was tasty and nice. e in? the lady behind the bar was friendly enough, and apologetic for the face of the pub, as it needs painting asap. apparently planning permission has gone in/ going in,
 we did have a nice time, but unfortunately wont be hurrying back as there is a lot of things that need fixing here!!

A very derelict pub. The bars are very dirty and dusty with candle wax dripping everywhere. We found slug trails over the carpet in one of the bars and no carpet in the other. The only food on the menu is tapas, and not very good. We waited for an hour and a half to get the meal, we were the only customers, when it came is was wrong. Some weird woman brought it to us that look like she was from the 50’s with her hair rolled up in a head scarf with doc martins on. I think she cooked it. 
They seem to serve people too much drink because the language and actions with another customer was terrible. A short guy was having a go at his wife in the other bar over the top of very loud music which we did not appreciate. We would not recommend this place to anyone because of the weirdness going on there

Weird place

On the up after a troubled couple of years. A real gem and worth the visit, before the masses find out !
Great food and real ale / craft beer that changes on a regular basis.
It's currently open Wednesday's through to Saturday's. Really friendly, and bags of charm. The rooms are being re-furbished as staying would be a bonus.
