Trust me this isn't for you, you won't like the four poster bed or the power shower. You won't like the selection of spirits, the open fire or the circular staircase. The full English cooked to perfection and the coffee machine won't be your thing. The beautiful decor and fascinating heritage won't interest you at all. However, if you are like me and all these things you do like, you'll find no better place than this.

Our stay

This is a superb BnB. We stayed for 2 nights last July on a family trip to Longleat. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the beds are very very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Jo and Tim are fantastic hosts. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you both.

Family Stay

Awesome hosts , spacious and airy rooms , spotless in every way . Beautiful breakfast and hosts , what more can I say thank thank you Jo and Tim you made my birthday weekend . Would have loved to have stayed again but read your selling up , good luck for the future guys .

Best place I have stayed

Fabolous stay - absolutely gem

Old Parsonage House is a stunningly beautiful B&B. Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jo and Tim were friendly and very accommodating hosts, allowing us to check in late. They were very helpful with recommendations for places to park in Bath too. The breakfast was delicious, the bedroom was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! 100% recommend and would very happily return if and when visiting the Bath/Somerset area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Possibly the best B&B I've ever stayed at!

A warm welcome awaits you- Jo and Tim are perfect attentive hosts. We stayed in the family suite-our teenage children were very pleased with a room of their own. We had a cosy, clean and comfortable room with beautifully decorated surroundings. Our breakfast was freshly prepared to our choosing, with high quality, locally sourced produce. This is a perfect base to explore the surrounding areas and definitely not one to be overlooked!

Perfect bed and breakfast experience!

A lovely, large room with 2 comfortable chairs to sit in.  The house itself was stunning, a lovely period property and close to the village of Beckington.  Breakfast was first rate, really fresh and generous.

A beautiful, friendly bed and breakfast

This was a three day visit to explore the many close attractions of the area. We used the property as a base for short trips and visits. Excellent on all levels - the welcome, advice, comfort of rooms, breakfast, parking area and such a delightful building with quality fittings and decoration. What a find. Thank you Jo and Tim.

Very comfortable base indeed

My husband and I stayed for two nights and it did not disappoint.  From the moment you arrive on the drive and see the beautiful house, it only gets better.  There is ample parking and a very warm welcome from Jo, your host.  She took us to our double room and it was perfect.  It was a cold December evening and the room was warm and welcoming.  The bed was large, very comfortable and the quality of the furniture and furnishings, was obvious.  We had a great night's sleep, followed by a lovely hot and powerful shower.  The room itself was clean and wonderfully spacious.  The breakfasts were superb - they were freshly made, tasty and the portions were generous. I cannot fault our stay, neither can I recommend The Old Parsonage enough.  We had a lovely and relaxing stay - thank you Jo and Tim, for sharing your beautiful home with us.

A birthday treat that did not disappoint

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding located nearby. The house is beautiful and has been restored with real love. 

The b&b part of the house is separate to the owner’s accommodation, which made us feel less like we were imposing on their personal space, which can sometimes be the case in b&bs. 

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bedding was premium and very cosy. The en suite was very clean and had a great shower. 

The breakfast was the best part, we both had a full English, all of the ingredients were of a high quality, with real butter, fresh orange juice and delicious sausage and bacon. All cooked to a high standard. 

I highly recommend staying here, and we will return if ever back in this part of the world.
