We had a group of us staying for a weekend at the Granby. The owner Jelena was awesome. Nothing was too much trouble, she was really friendly and helpful.

One of the staff, Shane deserves a mention too, he was there to serve us drinks, our meals and help out in general. Again what an amazingly positive attitude. Wow

I would definitely stay at The Granby again, It's a really nice clean and friendly hotel and the staff are awesome, definitely a 10 plus out of 10 xxx

Brilliant Friendly and Professional service in a nice hotel

We picked this hotel because of proximity to brands hatch racing circuit, plus the price was reasonable. It was a gem of a find ! Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. We visited during the heatwave and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included so we set ourselves up for the day's racing with fantastic full English.

This is my second stay, 

Staff… ALL the staff I have encountered, Shane , JELENA, night porter, and some of the cleaning team, each and everyone of them have been so friendly and helpful. 

Rooms 
The two rooms I have stayed in have been large , fresh and very clean . 
The beds are comfy, linen and towels fresh and clean . 
Tea coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate etc all in place , 
Good size tv . 

Bathrooms 
Clean and good size , Both rooms had excellent powerful showers . 

Lounge/Breakfast area . 
Clean tidy ,nice place to relax.

Nice place to sit and relax on a hot day. 

THERES ALSO DISABLED ACCESS TO THE REAR.

THIS HOTEL IS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY AND THE TEAM WHI WORK HERE ARE A CREDIT TO THE HOTEL.

A JEWEL IN THE CROWN.

The Granby is a nice hotel, ideally situated in Northfleet, close to Bluewater, Brands Hatch and other attractions.  

Whilst it's true they have had some issues with telephone and website, don't let that overly concern you. The welcome I received was friendly and accommodating, they are definitely trading.

The breakfast options are plenty. The full English was delicious, other options include cereals and yogurts.

The room I had was clean, modern and I experienced no issues with noise. The bathroom is quite new and well maintained, full marks to housekeeping.

Staff were all friendly and chatty, especially the South African lady and the manager, who rectified a faulty fan quickly and with no fuss.

For some reason I can't add a room picture at time of review.

Lovely hotel in a great position

The stay was ok not amazing found a water spider in the bathroom by morning it had gone the beds were comfortable and had a great sleep however couldn’t have dinner as the pub across the road normally stops serving at 9 according to the website but actually stopped serving at 8 so ended up going to the spa shop for snacks not a dinner dissapointed.
The breakfast was mediocre but when you have a grilled tomato surely should be a beef one not a normal one just standard and the coffee was awful OJ was lovely and tidy was standard
Also there landline did not work reported this at the hotel and the lady was like no wonder not received any phone calls and website also did not work.

Standard mediocre not worth £80

The room looked nice upon entering but the bed was terrible, could feel every single spring.

Was woken up at 5.30am by someone continuously knocking at the back door of hotel.

Despite telling staff we didn't want room service they still knocked every day, my partner was working nights and was trying to sleep, there was no "do not disturb" sign for the door.

They performed a fire alarm test at 8.30am.

However, the lady at the front desk at check in was very helpful and all staff were wearing masks which was good to see.

Would not recommend

Excellent hotel, easy to find, ample free car parking, lovely welcome by staff.  Room was clean and tidy.  Breakfast was just enough and served quickly by pleasant staff.  Will definitely stay again when in the area

Very good

Surprised by the reviews, this place is very basic, corridor to my room smells of sweat because it has no ventilation, doors banging at night, somebody else’s air-conditioning noisy all night, everything cheap, for example the TV is the smallest I’ve ever seen and brand and I’ve never heard off, expensive for what it is, I would never come back, I’m truly baffled by all the good reviews

I’ve stayed in this area before but this was my first visit to this hotel this week. Good sized car park which is secure. Lady on reception was friendly and efficient. The room I was allocated was on the second floor. Although basic, was spotlessly clean and totally acceptable for a quick overnight stay. There were very few guests staying whilst I was there so it was very quiet during the night and I enjoyed a good nights sleep. The restaurant is not open at the moment due to covid but there is a pub across the road serving evening meals. Will stop again when in the area.

Manager was waiting for me on arrival and was lovely and welcoming

Room simple, clean and well serviced; plug socket next to bed- brilliant!

Good basic breakfast, again really friendly service from the manager. He is fab. 

Covid wise felt safe and well thought through- liked the cling film wrapped bowl, cereal and spoon combo. Well distanced and good sanitiser provision
