Had an incredible time thanks to Kevin and Elaine! Wonderful recommendations, personalised breakfasts, and altogether a fantastic couple of days.

Myself and 2 friends visited Balloch for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time.

Friendly owners, who welcomed all guests warmly. Comfortable stay, with a good bed and bathroom. Short walk to everything in Balloch. Owner gave us a ride to the station and was overall helpful. I'd stay here again. 

Good B&B

Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Kev who showed us to our rooms. The rooms were presented beautifully and pristinely clean. There were good tea and coffee facilities available. We had the family room which had some books and games.

The breakfast was lovely, and as vegans we were well catered for. Other family members eat meat and their brekkie looked fab too. The only thing missing was beans but it's not a complaint. All of the sauces were proper brands e.g. Heinz and the whole accommodation makes it feel as though no expense was spared.
Kev recommend places to eat and the B&B is walkable from the local Co-Op, chippy and pubs. It also didn't take too long to walk to the Loch. 
We would all love to return to Woodvale!

Woodvale B&B was amazing. The room we stayed in (the converted garage) was spacious, clean, well equipped, and quiet. We had everything we needed before setting off on a 5-day bike trip across Scotland and felt very comfortable. Kevin, our host, was extremely communicative and was even willing to let us ship a box of our bike gear to him from the US beforehand. We really appreciated the hospitality, the wonderful breakfast, and the recommendations for local restaurants to try. Thank you for a great overnight, it really helped add to our experience in Scotland!

We've spent 3 nights in Woodvale B&B to start our journey around western Scotland. Woodvale is ideally located and a small scale B&B: several restaurants and (grocery) shops are on walking distance and Woodvale itself is situated in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. In the area we've visited Loch Lomond, Luss, Balloch Castle / park and the Glengoyne distillery. And we were so lucky with the sunny weather! We've enjoyed our stay, space in the room, the outside terrace on the front and the tidiness of our room and breakfast area. Unfortunately the bed(s) were narrow and didn’t sleep too comfortable. Kevin and Elaine are kind hosts who made good efforts to make our stay pleasant. Kevin kindly provided us with valuable information while talking. Breakfast was very good and you have multiple options to choose from. Although the furnishment is pretty outdated, the decoration of the room was in style and gave us a true Scotland feeling. We've truly enjoyed our 'Scottish' start in Woodvale. 

A good base to discover Loch Lomond and its surroundings 

A lovingly designed B&B located in Balloch's center! The owners are very attentive to the well-being of their guests. The owner himself left on Sunday, the day we arrived, at night to get us gluten-free bread for breakfast, although of course we did not expect this! The room besides the bathroom was also very clean except for a small corner, we felt comfortable at all times! The center of Balloch is within walking distance, so are several restaurants! Especially great is a small walk to Balloch Castle through the beautiful park!

The guests are very friendly and hospitable. They offer to help, and are attentive to the needs of the guests. The room was very clean and allowed us to stay at 4. Breakfast is very cozy and very good. Parking is available on the property. From the B&B it is possible to walk to several restaurants, the park and the port.

A warm welcome

A superb B& B close to the amenities in Balloch and lovely warm and friendly welcome from Elaine when we arrived after our long journey.

Room was lovely, clean as a whistle and well equipped. All you would expect from a well run establishment.

Breakfast was fantastic.

Overnight stay at Woodvale B& B Balloch

Host are VERY nice, friendly and helpful in every way. The location is perfect for touring the town of Balloch. The Lock Lomond national park is absolutely beautiful and Sweenys Boat tour is so beautiful! Very happy we were able to spend a couple of days in this lovely little town.

Balloch

Me, my 11 year old daughter and her bestie stayed two nights at Woodvale. We were in the wee (but big) annex. Was perfect for us. Would absolutely recommend for couples who crave privacy... And parents who want their children not to be heard in the main house. 

Double bed in the bedroom is cosy... the girls were happy there, but it is tight. They get on grand. So was perfect. I slept on the pull down sofa in the living area, which was remarkably comfortable. 

Everything was clean and very welcoming. I could see they had a travel cot. More than enough clean bedding for many dynamics.

We really enjoyed our stay.   5 minutes walk to Balloch, 15 minute walk to Loch Lomond, 25 minute walk to Loch Lomond Shores. 

Breakfasts were scrummy, especially when Kevin made the extra effort one day to hunt a haggis specially.
