This hotel will take your money, and refuse to refund you. Even when the hotel was closed due to lockdown! 
I am over £600 out of pocket due to this hotel. They are criminals and have done it to so many people. PLEASE DO NOT PAY THEM A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY

Absolutely Awful hotel, room was dirty, the bathroom was not clean. and the service was terrible and they have very rude staff, i would advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs and book another hotel.

Shocking - wouldn't refund us despite not being able to travel due to lockdown. We are now taking them to court to re-coup our funds. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! They will take your money but will not provide the service - LAW-BREAKERS!!!

this hotel is not worth any of the hassle! I made a booking for this hotel on the 14th to the 16th of Novemeber. 4 days prior we got announced we were in the second lockdown. which meant NO TRAVELLING. 
Now the hotel are REFUSING to refund me and speak to me! Including management! 
Money and time WASTED. 

not one member of staff is understanding or fair! They need to read up the covid 19 rules!

My original booking was for the first lockdown and I was advised that I could not have a refund “even if it was because of COVID 19”
Eventually they agreed to move the dates to December.  However a further lock down was announced.  The booking popped up on an email saying how to check in etc.   I emailed to say that the lockdown prevented us from coming.  But two weeks later they are ignoring my attempts to contact them.

I was meant to go to with my mates back in May. We were unable to go due to being in lockdown. They refused to give us our refund back even though it was impossible to even stay there. After several emails they confirmed that they would not give us a refund suggesting that it was our problem to deal with. We had to take it further and eventually booking.com managed to get our refund back for us. It was very surprising considering the hotel said there was no way we could get our money back and somehow booking.com managed to get it back for us. This would suggest that they were only interested in taking our money, which was over £1,000.
 
For this reason alone I would recommend anyone looking at this hotel to find a different one because you would receive much better customer service.

Stayed in this godforsaken hole across 13 days, no idea why my employer chose it as there is cheaper and better all around Brighton. First room bathroom okay but filthy windows and curtains dodgy TV with no bass so sounded like a transistor radio. Second room dodgy carpet (with dodgy stains...) filthy curtains....etc. Listen, I'm not going to bother going any further room by room so to sum up- Dirty towels, damp walls and ceilings, non existent hot water, crap showers, no heating, rattling windows, dubious stains, indifferent staff (mostly) no breakfast (but you'd be scared to eat it anyway) a bar inhabited by ghosts. Oh yes, and if you get room 505 the bed is more spring than mattress. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and the cheapest ones can be sketchy but the problem is that this is not cheap for the pile of excrement that it is.

THIS HOTEL WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. We arrived to check in, having paid in advance and showed our booking confirmation to the receptionists.We were informed that the hotel had lost our booking due to a computer system error and we would have to pay £188 per night for a new booking. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told by the manager in front of my young children "You dont have a booking, stop wasting my time, get your **** out of here". A similar thing happened to three other customers in the half hour that we were there. Disgusting.

DO NOT STAY HERE - IT IS A CON

We had a booking for a room confirmed and paid for at LANGFORDS HOTEL in Brighton. We had email confirmation and even rang them up a couple of days before we were due to arrive to double check that all was OK and they assured us everything was fine. When we arrived (after a 4h drive) they told us they could not find our booking and that if we wanted a room we’d have to pay an additional £188 for the night. They also told us so without any apologies. In the time we were there we witnessed the same thing happening to 3 other customers. My husband asked for a complaint form and the manager told him in front of our two kids to stop wasting his time and get his arse out of there (in those exact words). It is the first time that something like this has happened to us (luckily) and it was deeply upsetting.

if you have booked this hotel be aware that they will make you to pay for the hotel again on arrival , as they will tell you they have lost your booking , We Drove three hours to get to this hotel to be told we have no room , absolute disgrace !!!!! hotel & the people that work there ,never ever going to this hotel ever again , If you want to be  Conned out of money
