St Aubin

Amazing guest house. Perfect location in St.Aubin with many restaurants nearby. The owner Jill, her daughter Anita and the whole team made our visit more than enjoyable. Our room had spectacular views of the bay and watching the sun come up made it even more special. The bathroom was large with lovely complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and large bath sheets. Breakfast was an experience in itself, lots of choice from a wide ranging menu with specials each morning all cooked to perfection.  Fresh coffee and tea to accompany, all with a wonderful view. A very homely guest house where you do immediately feel at home. We will definitely return in the future.

Five night stay at The Panorama

A friend and I went on a week-long WW2 history walking tour of the west and south coasts of Jersey and this was our first stay at The Panorama, St Aubin (Est. 1977).

We were warmly welcomed by the hard-working lovely owner Jill and her friendly daughter Anita, who arranged wonderful cooked breakfasts for us - perfect for a long day's 8-10 miles walking: Anita even went out of her way to source me a fine vegan breakfast everyday - the vegan cheese on toast, avo, mushrooms and vine tomatoes were truly amazing! The serving staff were all friendly, polite and professional.

After a long day's walking, the complimentary tea/coffee and picnic kit was a nice touch. 

The hotel is classic, relaxed, quiet, very smart and homely - the panoramic view from the garden over the golden sands of St Aubin's Bay to St Helier is breath-taking - it just so happened that we were there for the Jersey International Air Display and we had a grandstand view throughout.  

We had single front bedrooms - they were small but quiet, cosy and very clean. When we went in September 2023, it was very sunny, hot and humid, requiring 2 showers a day, but the spotless shower and modern facilities proved a great relief! 

The hotel is in an amazing location - a private flight of steps means the beach and main road is just one minute away and for a small end of the bay, it has everything: at least 4 pubs, a mini-Morrisons, Indian, Thai, Greek, Italian and pizza restaurants, plus good bus connections (15 minutes to the airport or St Helier - you can get a 7-day all-island bus pass for £35).

Everyone we met in the hotel and on the island, in shops, even the bus drivers (!) were polite, friendly and helpful. 

The only thing I will say about Jersey is that it is not cheap - think central London prices (pint = £6.75, single brandy = £9.90 (!), main course = £25.00 etc) so in 7 days it cost the best part of £1,000. But you do get quality.

Anyway, our big thanks to Jill, John, Anita and Emma for our luxurious stay - we will be back.

What an extraordinary place to be!
I don't even know where to start:
This family led house shows an unmatched level of hospitality! The owning family, but also every member of their team shows the egarness to make the guests happy and felt welcome.
The rooms (to the waterfront) have extraordinary views over the bay of St Aubin and are very spacious.
The breakfast is "Extra-Class", with all of what you could dream of as a full English Breakfast. And the best: when the weather allows, it is served in their panoramic garden.
The Panorama is located on a little hill, close (less then 10 minutes walk) to the small harbour of St. Aubin with nice restaurants.
We came by car with the ferry from St. Malo. Although The Panorama has no own parking area, we had no problem to leave our car on public parking spaces closeby.
All in All this has been a perfect experience!

A Perfect Place to be!

I don’t know where to start! The panorama is simply the best place I’ve ever stayed. And I’ve travelled round the world. Let me give details;
First the lovely family who run the B & B . Thank u so much for laundering my cardigan.
Second the staff, esp Emma. Such attention to detail! 
Wonderful stay! Couldn’t recommend it more 

Best ever!

Lovely luxurious accommodation run by a friendly,welcoming family and excellent staff.  Our room was beautiful overlooking the lovely St Aubin bay - a few steps to climb but so worth the view.  Very convenient for all buses going round the island and a 20 minute ride to the airport.  Great restaurants 5-10 minute walk away all serving first class food.  The Corbiere walk beautiful and peaceful to the lighthouse and easy walk to St Brelade.  Breakfast cannot be matched anywhere!!  What variety and served so fresh - a special most days -well done chef. Immaculately clean everywhere - thanks for a brilliant weeks holiday

Perfect peaceful hotel

After 28 years we returned to Jersey and here to the Panorama again. We were very happy to meet again the elderly couple Squires. Today supported by their daughter, granddaughter and a great team. Our stay in this beautiful Guest House was characterized by hospitality, attention and a high standard in the breakfast rooms, lounge and of course the fabulous rooms. Breakfast in the beautiful Garden or conservatory overlooking the stunning bay of St. Aubin, was spectacular.
Thank you for everything. TIME PASSES, BUT THE BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES REMAIN. Take care of yourselves.

Great Guest House 

I was very warmly received at the Panorama Guesthouse in St. Aubin. The charming small family-run hotel is located near the center, with good transport links on a hilltop. You have a great view of the bay. The rooms are modern, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic! Depending on the weather, in the garden, in the winter garden or in the breakfast room, it can be taken and served at the table. There are fresh, warm croissants and self- baked cakes. Then, of course, the main entrance à la carte. Also, you can serve at the buffet with freshly pressed juice, cereals, yogurt, etc. The staff is always welcome and welcome. I would definitely recommend the hotel!

Hotel with charm

This guest house is first rate for service and quality the staff are first rate the breakfast cannot be bettered on a five star. The views from the property are great service and cleanliness are something else. Nothing missing and I travel all over my Europe and it's the. Best.

You cannot do better

What a fabulous week staying at the Panorama St Aubin. We were totally spoilt from the time we arrived to the time we left. The choice of breakfast was unbelievable and cooked to perfection. We would like to thank John Jill Anita and all the staff making our stay so memorable. Would love to return thank you once again.

Wonderful stay

Stayed 4 nights at this lovely guest house. So clean and well run ,the  staff can’t do enough for you, even offering to get us a taxi for our return to the airport , we were spoilt for the whole of our stay 

The breakfast is unlike any other I have had , wow the choice , the extra touches (which I won’t spoil) and every one we had cooked perfectly and tasted so good , you can’t say no ! Back on the diet tomorrow
