The lodge was a perfect getaway from reality. The forest area surrounding the lodge is beautiful, and it felt very secluded and private. The lodge was spotlessly clean, and finished to a very high standard. The bed was incredible, the hot tub was perfect, and I even enjoyed a bubble bath in the tub. A short 15 minutes drive away was a range of takeaways, supermarkets, and starbucks. I will definitely be going back! 

Luxurious Secluded Lodge Stay

We had an amazing 3 night stay! Lovely quiet village around, with Bicester village only a 15 minute drive away. Really clean, and we had choc truffles and Prosecco in the room! Thank you for a great stay. Would highly recommend!!! 

3 night stay

Just wow wow wow! From the second we walked up to our beautiful lodge we felt like we were living the life of luxury. Couldn’t fault it in the slightest! So much thought had gone into every detail and made our experience more positive. Perfect getaway!

We’ll be back!

Excellent lodges, very private despite being next to each other. Could have easily stayed a lot longer! Everything was very clean and relaxing in a hot tub next to the woods was lovely. Would recommend!

Excellent weekend away

Lovely private and peaceful couple of nights with girlfriend for her 30th. Highly recommended for a private discreet getaway with a partner for a fun time. Added extras was a nice touch and bottle of Prosecco and chocolates were nice addition.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend during December. He had been in contact with the girls working here for a while before in order to make sure everything went the way he had planned! I walked in the lodge to the most beautiful surprise , a bed full of rose petals, balloons, 100 red roses, gifts and champagne. We loved our stay here so much that by the end of our first evening we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. When staying here the facilities available are fully equipped, every morning we sat in bed with a cup of tea and watched an episode of a Netflix series before we got showered and ready for the day. We ate out every evening and one of our favourite restaurants was The Nut tree in, the food here was amazing and if you are looking for a cosy , Christmassy restaurant then this is certainly the place to go. It felt like something out of the film ‘The Holiday’. Bicester village is about a 15 minute drive from the lodge , we spent the whole day here as the sales were incredible! Lots of pop up food/drinks stands , definitely recommend the crepe one and the champagne pop up by Veuve Clicquot. We also ate at the pasta restaurant opposite Ralph Lauren which was amazing value for money and the organic prosseco is a must have! Every night after eating out we would sit in the hot tub for hours with a bottle of fizz and chat , it was honestly one of the best weekends away I’ve ever had! My partner did hire bikes and the bbq , however it was snowing and so cold we didn’t end up using them but if you was to stay here in warmer weather then i definitely recommend hiring them as the grounds where the lodges are built are beautiful, the lakes have a long walk around with benches where you can sit with hot drinks and food etc. Lots of privacy when in the lodge and Hot tub as they are all fenced off from each other ! If you are looking for a luxury, romantic weekend away then I cannot recommend this enough. Thankyou to everyone at Panshill for the most amazing weekend we will definitely be returning.

Surprise weekend away

Stayed over the last weekend in November following a recommendation via a travel YouTube channel.
It was our anniversary and this was perfect location for quiet weekend.
Nestled in countryside this place offers a quiet retreat via its luxury lodges with a hot tub looking out onto the woods. It is also close to Bicester(and you get 10% off the village via your stay currently) and Oxford if you want a day trip.
The luxury lodge is well decorated, maintained and optional extras available really help create a lovely experience.
 They also provide a wealth of information about local attractions, experiences and eateries.
The bed was like a cloud, the hot tub was perfect for 2 and the arrival/check out is so easily done.
If there was 1 tiny bit of feedback, our lodge didn’t have a bread knife which was no real issue but had we bought different food for first night could have been.
That said, as that was the smallest of first world problems, I couldn’t recommend this more highly.

Perfect relaxing weekend

Family of 4 stayed in rooms 6&7. Firstly, I was very surprised to find that there was a joining door to another bungalow. Luckily no one was staying in there but with a huge gap under the door, there would be no privacy. I can safely say if anybody was next door I would have gone home. I would not say this was luxury accommodation. It was basic. Clean, but basic. I did not find it relaxing. A TV in the seating area and more of a homely feel would have been nice. There was just no atmosphere. The bed was so creaky we slept separately. The hot tub was nice but dirty. The patio was dirty. I walked in and found a dirty sock on the patio which was not the best start. I did have an issue during the stay which was put right promptly, and the service was good. No mirror in one bedroom. Some basic things in the kitchen were missing too. If you stay here, I would avoid these rooms.

Rooms 6&7

We stayed in one of the Panshill lodges for a weekend break over in the summer of 2021. The lodges are very private, secluded and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. There are some woodlands to stroll around and we also had an amazing hottub to ourselves. We only stayed for 2 days - if you are planning to stay longer bear in mind that there isn't an awful lot to do in the area, but Bicester village is within a driveable distance for a day trip.

Perfect private getaway

A group of 4 of us stayed in a bungalow. We did not expect that our accommodation would be joined to  another room, only separated by one regular locked door. This didn’t feel comfortable, relaxing or peaceful, as there was a big hole under the door, and we could hear the neighbours going to the toilet and blowing their nose all night.
I felt that this should be made clear on booking. 
The accommodation was clean, the hot tub was FAB, clean and a really good temperature. But it didn’t feel like luxury accommodation, it felt clean and practical. Communal area was very basic and wasn’t relaxing for a group. Would be nice if the room was moved around to make a more sociable seating area. Some more mirrors would be helpful too. 
There was a gorgeous view of the woods and a pond and we saw some beautiful birds. 
We had a lovely time, but not luxury, and be prepared for your neighbours, only separated by a door if your in the bungalows, wish we could have been in a lodge they looked lovely!
