We spent 2 nights at this lovely B&B. Very friendly host and could not ask for more. We had everything we needed in the spacious room with exceptional en-suite. Very clean, had 2 great nights sleep in the queen size beds. Beautiful luxury bedding. My husband loved the bed, loved the breakfast which was very tasty and included a vegetarian option. My husband particularly loved the powerful shower. The towels smelled so fresh my husband couldn’t stop smelling them. We just couldn’t fault anything. Our host was also very knowledgable on the surrounding area and has tried out lots of the walks and places to visit so can advise you about all the places that are suitable for dogs or lovely castles to visit. We gad our dog with us and she was spoilt too. Lovely extra touches for both humans and doggies. Treats, towels for your dogs. Nice little table and chairs to sit outside in the nice weather. Will definitely be returning. A vehicle is a must have as in the country and not many pathways along the roads. Nearby waterfalls were amazing!! Also the rate for the room is very reasonable. Tried out a nearby restaurant called The Stagg Inn and the food was Very very tasty. Again this was recommended by our host Izzy as she had tried them out before. Amazing weekend away with husband and my pooch.

Amazing Stay in Hereford

So this was a short break on the hoof, as our Florida trip has been cancelled. 

We wanted somewhere we could spend some time together as a family and take the dog, and this was it.
Ideal location for lots of lovely walks nearby and places to see and go all within a short car journey.  The location is very pretty, very quiet (and dark at night). The hosts were amazing making us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was top notch, the beds were comfy and the showers were lovely (now our kids want LED lighting in ours!).  They have a dog friendly room (very) and he spent the night with us, while kids had the room next door. 
Lots of the local tourist spots are very welcoming also for people with dogs, inc many places to eat (we found). Clearly the area wanted to welcome dog owners, not push them away.
The B&B is now owned and run by a new owner, Izzy- and she was just great! Nothing was to much trouble!

Cant wait to go back and visit again soon.

Quick break to wales with the dog!

 We have just returned from a fabulous wedding in Herefordshire and had the good fortune to stay in the Firs cottage B and B near Kington and are we glad  we did , it was fantastic.
They have two chalets with every mod con .
Each chalet is fitted out to a vey high standard and breakfast is served in your room , we had a full English cooked to perfection . They will ,within reason cook whatever you want .
The chalet was immaculate and if you need accommodation in this area is a lovely place to stay .
I highly recommend it .
The Host is a lovely lady and very professional.

Wow , says it all

Two night stay in very clean and comfy room, great breakfast cooked by host Sue.
Not very easy to find the location, but once there a very pleasant place to stay.
Book well ahead if you need a Taxi, but Richard recommended by Sue was reliable.

Charming Accommodation

Lovely location, but a bit remote, so will need a car. We were there for a wedding at Lemore Manor, and taxis are very limited, so if you're planning a few drinks out you'll need to book a taxi well in advance.
Great welcome from Sue, and very helpful.
Room was spotless. 
Brekky was really good.
Would highly recommend.

2 night stop over

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night as we had a wedding at Lemore Manor. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean.. tea and coffee facilities in room too! 

Sue is very welcoming and the breakfast is amazing! Would highly recommend The Firs. Will be staying again.

Perfect!!

My Husband and I stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Lemore Hall. We booked for a 2 night stay. The rooms are big a spacious and spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We didnt arrive until late on the Friday night and Sue kindly left the key in the door for us. The breakfast is perfect for anyone attending a wedding in the areas as there is enough to keep you going until you are fed at the wedding. The breakfast is brought to your room and Sue has this down to a fine art. First there is a selection of cereal, tea, coffee and youghurt and fruit. Then comes the full full english with toast and preserves. This is included in the price which is extremely reasonable. I cant recommend this place enough. Thanks Sue for such wonderful hospitality.
