I went here for a meal with my Brother during the day, We waited 20/30 minutes to even see anyone in the bar that worked there and no other people were in there at all. When someone eventually showed up they didn’t greet us nothing and there was no menus shown anywhere nothing we had to google it while sat there. The food did come quick and was hot but the macaroni cheese was watery and disgusting the fish was slimey and tasted almost like it had gone off. Staff were off and cold not friendly at all with us waiting that long to even see someone they could have atleast said hello etc. Very disappointing and would not return or recommend!

Used this place a few times during our stay… food basic pub grub but okay.On our final visit for a drink on the Saturday afternoon for a drink came across a real piece of work masquerading as a barmaid. It’s not often you find rudeness & obnoxious in such quantity in an individual that also chooses to work in the hospitality sector… so if you don’t manage to spot the Loch Ness monster call in here to observe the loch leven one ….. it’s easy to spot. All other members of staff were interested in doing their job fortunately.

The shower room was disgusting full of black damp was terrible.

the hairdryer had a Pat test sticker from 2018 shocking that they get away either this unsafe and disgusting unhealthy conditions when we pay premium prices

Pub is alright doesn’t have too much atmosphere but still good enough, decent pints on offer or the size of the pub and they are friendly enough staff and always try and sort you a table, the food is definitely disappointed though just microwaved/warmed up food and not cheap either, but the best option in the village

Good

We stayed one night at the Inn as part of the West Highland Way. The inn is very cosy and old-timey with a good atmosphere. The rooms are on the older side, but clean and quiet. We also ate dinner in the restaurant downstair which had excellent food at very fair prices - the cheapest we experienced on the Way, Being an Inn/pub they also had a very good selection of different beers to try. Highly recommended!

Very cosy inn on the West Highland Way

Great wee pub, very friendly staff and locals, and the food was excellent. It's right on the main road so you can't, and shouldn't, miss it. It seems like it's "the local". The barman was very helpful. We'll worth a visit, if you're in the area. 

Pop in for a pint and a bite

Great and lovely owners. This small pub was so warm and friendly with a most amazing owner and her son Robbie.
I am not the easiest person to please where hotels and accommodation is concerned but the bed was so comfy, the breakfast was great, nothing was to much trouble and the location for walking or indoor climbing with the ice factor next door was perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just a pub trip, we had the most amazing end to our 7 days in Scotland as we experienced a proper Scottish atmosphere in a brilliant pub. So many laughs in an afternoon! This is a true local pub and everyone made us feel so so welcome! Would highly recommend it. So dog friendly too. Amazing

Just a pub visit. No overnight stay

Stayed here the final night on the West Highland Way. Great location right on the Way. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly as well. Unfortunately, it got pretty noisy at night as my room was right above the pub. I stayed here on a Friday night, and I'm not sure if this is true the rest of the week. They did provide free earplugs. I ended up having to go a step further and play some white noise with earbuds through my phone. That's really my only complaint. Breakfast was really delicious.

Great place to stay, but can get noisy since you're above the pub

This is by far the worst accommodation we've ever been to on our hill trip. It's a tavern with rooms and I think its priority is clearly to be a tavern. We were there on a Saturday night and the noise and noise in the street lasted until 1am. We were in a family room, with very little space. The beds were overly soft and noisy at every turn. The staff, too, were not particularly friendly when we arrived.
