Leven

Bankhead House is a beautiful old home in the country, a short drive from all attractions.  Our hosts, Len and Sue were warm and gracious and had great suggestions for restaurants and activities (we loved the Coastal path!).  Our rooms were spacious and well-appointed.  Breakfast was large and very tasty (home made jams and jellies were awesome!).  The garden is lovely!  I highly recommend Bankhead House.

Scenic B&B in Golf country

Visited recently and everything was superb. Great hosts, fresh food , clean rooms. Everything A1 standard. Thoroughly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble for hosts. Near to restaurants and train station where we took the train into Edinburgh. 

Warm and welcoming

very helpful and very friendly hosts, spacious rooms; spotless and elegant house, great view from room 'town', inspiring garden, cooked breakfast to your favour, fruits from own garden, definitely to recommend!

20 minutes to fishing villages like Pittenweem 


Charming BB definitely to recommend! 

Bankhead House is a large, beautifully maintained old home in the Fife countryside.  Len and Sue made us feel immediately welcome.  Our bedroom was very spacious with views of the garden and sea.  The bathroom was modern and well-appointed.  Len and Sue were very helpful, offering suggestions for restaurants, places to visit, making reservations for meals and even a tee time!  

Breakfast was delicious, with many hot choices, cooked to order.  As well there was cold cereal, juices, yogurt and yummy fruit salad.

Don't mis the opportunity to stroll thru Sue's gardens - lovely!

We were grateful to Len for his suggestion of the Coastal Path and the direction to take.  

Hope we have the opportunity to return some day.

Peaceful and scenic

Absolutely fabulous place to stay, warm welcome and nothing too much trouble, beautiful setting, little note-if you want milk for your early morning cuppa, ask. It's fresh not uht. Envious of garden and view breakfast was the cherry on top.
Would highly recommend for anyone as a base for exploring the Fife area, beautiful.

Bankhead House is situated high up with an incredible view of the harbour across the city of Edinburgh, its surroundings with varying shades of green, the calmly grazing horses and an indescribable bucolic situation, especially if the good weather is accompanied.All this accompanied by spacious rooms with comfortable beds, a fantastic breakfast, with homemade products and hot dishes made to date and complemented by the kindness of the hostelers, provided us with an unforgettable stay.
