The Hotel  is made by the happy and caring staff who helped with everything we needed and wanted to know.  The staff at the Drove resturant were kind and efficient and bothe the hotel and the resturant were clean and well cared for.  It was a surprise that we consider that the service we erceived at this hotel was beeter than that we have received at some 5* hotels

Great staff, great food and a  great place

For the price we've paid it was a very good night. The hotel is very near the ferry and that why we took it. Impressive big room and comfortable bed for the price. If we had time we ate the breakfast there for sure.

We stayed over for 2 nights while visiting family, the hotel was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly especially Jake on reception.
 Fire alarm went off at 5am on one of the mornings but if its a life saver there's no complaints from me.

I would stop at this hotel ever again, dirty and cold rooms, mold in the bathroom, no wifi, rude staff, Breakfast stone cold, evening meal was snail slow and stone cold. air con was a fan in the corner. key cards never worked

NIGHTMARE HOTEL

My stay at this hotel was very good no problems at all . Would recommend Having the Brewers Fair next door was a bonus as well. As no need to go and find somewhere to eat. Food was very good value for money. The staff in the hotel and the restraunt very very friendly and helpful

Good Hotel

Staff were smoking outside the main entrance - not a great first impression.  The room was upstairs, at the far end of the building, quite a trek.  Lights in room did not appear to work so went back to reception where I was told I had to insert the room card into the holder inside the door to get them to turn on.  Should I not have been told that on arrival?  Went into bathroom, only one towel, so another trek back to reception to get a second towel.  Cobwebs in ceiling corners.  Squeaky, creaky bed.  Badly warped bath panel. Breakfast buffet was out of several items when we went in at 8.30, so had to wait for bacon and hash browns to arrive.  No fied eggs, only tepid scrambled eggs. No orange juice at all - they had run out.  On the positive side it is next door to Sainsbury's petrol station for fuel and is close to the ferry terminal, but I would not stay here again.  On our return journey we stayed at the much superior, friendlier and cheaper Wellington Inn at Seaford, which is just ten minutes from the ferry terminal.  Stay there instead.

Very disappointing - not like the adverts!

Sadly let down since usually with Premier Inn we know to expect cleanliness and comfort. Although the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful we weren't happy: when we arrived our room smelled of wee. We were in an accessible room and there were no other rooms free to swap.  We went out for the evening and during this time our room was cleaned and this did improve.  However,  the bathroom was in a sorry state with black mould present,  see pictures.  The bed was a double, slotted in to a king size headboard which meant a big gap between the bed and the bedside table. We tried to move the bed but it made an awful noise and we were scared it would break! This meant that in order to reach anything I had to physically get up out of bed! 

Not happy

I had a lovely room which backed onto the carpark by reception, I wasn't too bothered by car movements, but it was staff at shift chang times making all the noise car doors slamming and "bye"  saying goodbye to husband/ boyfriends dropping them off at 11pm and 6 am, I could have asked for another room but I have mobility issues.

The stay was as you'd expect. We had an issue with one of the towels supplied had a massive black stain on it, but when i raised it with staff it was immediately resolved. Food and drink was fine, decent value, but nothing to write home about. Ginger beer wasn't included in the meal deal so had to pay an extra £3.

The hotel is a bit run down and not up to the standard of more modern Premier Inns.
A particular issue was loads of power points, but none near the bed for phone charging. 
In particular the bathroom was awful - old fashioned shower in the bath, ridiculous one sheet at a time toilet roll dispenser and a constant smell of stale urine.
And perhaps it's nobody's fault, but being turfed out by a fire alarm at 4am was far from ideal. 
However, the staff at reception were lovely and friendly.
