Booked this pod room as I was only in town for one night. 
£40 for a bed for the night in the city centre is very reasonable......however the least I would have expected was a bed that would have at least been comfortable enough to get even a little sleep. 
Worst mattress ever, in fact I refuse to even call it a mattress. The thing folded in half when you lay on it, you could feel literally every spring poking through the surface, it made a hell of a noise even when you attempted to roll over.
Pod wasn’t particularly clean neither was the bathroom. I didn’t use the shower and I bailed out early in the morning. 
It’s all well and good offering a value bed for the evening but that was ridiculous. 
Staff seemed friendly enough and location is great........the rest was awful. 


Shockingly bad

This hotel is cheap. This is the only good point. Room was awful. dirt and dust everywhere. Mattress buckled when I sat on it. Did not reach the bathroom. Stayed 20 min. No way could have slept there.I have mild asthma. No window and fan was only way of keeping cool. Unless you are broke I would not stay here

Looked for a cheapish over night stop and got what I expected. but hadn’t hoped for. Rooms were compact but had all you needed for short stay. unfortunately the   mattress had had better days  or years and I would had a better night sleep on the carpet !!  Very central for pubs and clubs so great for lads and ladies weekend. Will pay the extra £ next time and actually sleep.

Just an over night stop

Firstly I will say that the accomadation is about half the price of any others we priced for a 2 night weekend stay in Liverpool and anyone we came into contact with seemed nice and friendly.
It is a very strange layout as mentioned in other reviews with a shared toilet with urinals and a reception that's a throwback to the 70s , we did book because we basically needed a bed for a few hours each night so to be fair it did what we required .
 BUT ....one thing everyone insists on in 2018 is HYGIENE !! No matter if you are paying 5 star or 2 star , bedrooms ,bathrooms filthy and stained ,fans ,radiators,showers covered in grime ?? Such a shame that a place that could have been classed as a cheap little find in an increasingly expensive city  lets itself down by simply not hiring a cleaner ?? I wouldn't stop again because it simply feels and looks dirty ...shame.

Deep clean needed

Myself and the husband flew into Liverpool for the birthday party of a friend last Saturday and were flying out again the next morning, so we needed somewhere to get our heads down for a couple of hours after the party.
I found this and because the price was so reasonable I wasn’t expecting much.
However, the reception guy was so lovely and helpful, the place was super clean and the room was cozy and warm. The shower and rooms were super clean and towels had been provided.
It is super close to the city centre and there are loads of places to go out locally (within a couple of minutes walk.
Really super little find and I would definitely stay again!

Super value, great little find!

A great b&b very close to the centre in a street of a very populated neighborhood in the evening and full of young people. It is a 10-minute walk from the main railway stations. It is not easily understood that it is a b&b because there is no actual sign. The structure I believe is a rehearsal room or recording studio because there is always a loud noise of drums and musical instruments but the area where the rooms are completely soundproofed. The rooms, although mine was windowless as probably all the others, are clean and with all the comforts....TV, boiler, towels... the room has a glass window that goes from the corridor and can be closed with a curtain and the furnishings of the rooms are colourful and pleasant. The bathrooms are very spacious and modern. It does not offer breakfast.

Great B&B downtown.

A budget hotel in the centre of Liverpool, not far from the centre of the nightlife, rooms with a bed and a napkin, but just staying over is the thing, no strings attached, good receptionists.

Budget hotel in the centre of Liverpool

The cabin (the room is almost unpretentious to say) is pleasantly furnished and clean. On Fridays and Saturdays, in northern England, you can easily pay twice the price of a room compared to the weekly prices. A pleasant exception is the podzzz. During the week I prefer a hotel near the train station, where I have been many times.

Small and affordable on weekends

We were looking for a hotel for Saturday night in Liverpool and everyone was very nice.The PodZzz was the best we could find in terms of location and price.The rooms are very small: a bed, a small desk and a TV, but everything was very clean.The bathrooms and showers, which are outside the room, were also clean.There is only one problem for people who sleep lightly, there is a club inside the building and in our room there was a lot of music.
