Stopped a while back and I wasn’t going to write a view but I’ve just seen the deluded chauvinistic pig who runs the place on tv giving it the big shot. Bob is a vile man who’s views belong back in the 60s. He gives no damn about his business and I think it’s just a way for him to pay bills without having to actually do any work. The bathroom was vile, the kitchen must never get cleaned, the bedding was filthy with hairs and dust everywhere. Stains on all the walls, damp patches I could go on, but I won’t.

Rather sleep on the street

Loved it here Bob is great bloke no materialism fab fab value for london right on relaxed layed back slept fab help ya sen breakfast no bother at all loved it keep up the good work loved the Artwork loved the whole concept

Filthy, leaky, noisy - not worth the savings. Roof leaked - big puddle on my floor. Didn't want to touch anything in the bathroom or kitchen, because it was all so very dirty. Worst place I have ever paid to stay by a long way.

Just Don't

This establishment met our needs perfectly. The continental breakfast was adequate and the waitress knew exactly what we wanted after our first breakfast.
It is in a great locality with about a 5 minute walk to the tube and the bus into piccadilly stopped right out side the front door.
The only downside was the establishments cleanliness but with a good scrub round the windows and a coat of paint it would be turned into a nice place.

Never again At Home Chiswick!!!! The fullness of discomfort: no water chase, imagine for the following, grinding parks, a kitchen and dirty accessories, the contents of the questionable refrigerator, outdated products, moisturized butter, moisturized flavor, black bananas...) makes me want to vomit....better to skip breakfast....The atmosphere of the house is impressive, very shady...especially no children, who could have nightmares....Happy that the litter appeared clean...clear room on the street.

It's a shame for London to be in the B&B selection.

Don’t go if you are the slightest bit concerned. This place is filthy, doors don’t close properly, windows don’t shut properly, toilet doesn't flush properly. I slept on my coat with my clothes on and couldn’t even bear to use the bathroom to clean my teeth. Bedding smelt very stale, damp walls and no visible smoke alarm.
Owner didn’t stay on site- presumably is too used to people complaining.

Beware

Well placed to visit the very friendly suburb of Chiswick and with easy access to the Underground to get to the centre of London, but..... dirty and decayed rooms. So dirty bedside table I didn't dare put anything on it. Sharing bathroom and very minimalist. Cooks a horror of dirt. We eat what we find. The owner just takes you around the property and then disappears. His b&b survives thanks to its location.

Running away

It looks quite different from a b&b as it is ultimately a house of a gentleman artist English quite available but very much for his affairs, but certainly a very acceptable person as particular as it may seem. He has basically adapted the upper floor with 3 rooms to accommodate tourists. The price does not seem exceptional to me for the quality offered, but you know that in London housing of this type are of low quality at a mediocre price. breakfast is included but you have to prepare it yourself (well, the products are there). The bathrooms are in common and can go. the wooded floor makes a noise that you can hear at every step, unfortunately! the location was not very exceptional but anyway in 2 to 5 minutes walk from the old door to the toilet.

Pros and cons, but if you don't want too much, you can go!

We had booked anyway, despite the comments we read. THE BEAUTIFUL ERROR... all that is said here is the visible face of the iceberg.. besides being limited, the owner announces to us at 1 day of arrival that the double bed room is finally not available (reservation made 2 months before). on arrival, he tries to scam us of 20 pounds, which is not negligible. He gave us a wifi code to come up on one of his work cards. The only bemool: the hotel has to serve under a coffee cup for a while.

It's better to sleep on the street

The house is really nice, colorful, creative, the owner is available, I've read some not very positive comments I can't explain, I highly recommend it, my mother had to cancel at the last minute, and she got the money back.
