After checking in and slyly the staff trying to charge me twice ....This place was beyond poor. Only can be described as filthy, dirty and disgusting. Stains on matrices, towels, walls, curtains! Stains on stains. The shower was broken, there were bloodstains on the walls, dirty floor that looked as though it hadn't been hoovered in weeks. Just felt grubby sitting in the room. The roof was falling to bits. The cupboard fell on me ( witnessed by my brother) the shower basin was disgusting and didn’t look like it had been cleaned with scum on it. The fridge was dirty and there was evidence of potential bed bugs. I sat in the room and decided I would sleep fully clothed but then decided I would leave and take my chances and pay the extra money elsewhere.  As an ex soldier I have stayed in some tough places but this is the only hotel I have refused to sleep in. They also refused a refund of 3 days. Do not stay here!!!!!!

I have stayed in many budget hotels, but this is the only hotel I have wanted to leave immediately. We nearly booked another one when we arrived but we just grin and bared it, as we were going out immediately and only staying one night. 
When we arrived, the receptionist was not aware of our booking and asked us to pay again. He was fine when we said we had already paid, but it all seemed sketchy. The place is really dingey and has a really odd vibe. The room is awful, bed is so uncomfortable and there is no shower head holder. Rooms are not sound proof at all. 

Really think you would be better off in an Air BnB room in someone’s house than this for a cheap price. It was awful.

Do not stay here

Reviews I read were reasonable and it was cheap (for London). In reality it was grotty. The overall decor is 'basic' and in our room (no 12) which was classed a 'superior' because it had ensuite shower and toilet it was very bad. Shower/toilet room has badly cracked floor tiles, and the tile you stand on as you exit the shower had jagged edges protruding. The false ceiling had tiles which were stained from leaks above and cracked at the edge. Most of the lights did not work and there was no external window. The one window faced on to the hallway. The Booking.com listing says there is a restaurant and breakfast is served - there is no restaurant in this 'hotel' though there are plenty of food outlets and cafes nearby. The bed was comfy and the sheets and towels were clean and we had our own shower and toilet but the overall impression was 'grotty'. I am familiar with the expression 'you get what you pay for' but even so this was not a good experience and will look elsewhere next time.

Honest opinion - grotty

We found ourselves in this hotel because it was near the house where my brother lived. With 100 pounds for two nights it was a SCEMPIO!! Room 13. ceiling that was losing water, toilet broke, bedspread OSCENA, dirty everywhere, mold, one single towel for two people... but the most scandalous thing is THE CIGARETS FOR THE TERRE!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't describe it, I just leave pictures that will definitely speak for me.

Firstly I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star, but had to, to be able to give a review. 

Do not stay in this scum hole! Full of filth and bed bugs!! My son woke up bitten to hell by the things and unfortunately they hitched hiked into my son's luggage back home and infested our house. Electrics hanging off the wall close to the shower. Avoid Avoid Avoid! This place needs closing down.

Vile Skanky Infested Place

I wouldn't even wish my worst enemy this shit of a place. SPORCO, all broken and above all zero cleanliness. The towels were leaking and we found hair on top of it. Window rotten, the bathroom is indecent and the staff is rude to say the least. A terrible cold because the window being broken they put in newspapers but the cold air still comes in, not to mention the terrible smell that there is in this place. I repeat, stay away from this place, it would be closing!

Shit, stay away from this place!

Gross. Greeted with "hmmmm you ordered the superior deluxe room (pulls a funny face). Maybe I should show you this first". She did show us, and it was bad bug what you going to do  wouldn't have been able to get anywhere else.

Carrpet with paint on, bedding dull of cigarette burns, ceiling falling down, full of stains, exposed wires, broken door handle, toilet door didn't shut, one toilet roll, one towel between two (never got a shows anyway think it was more hygienic not to). Absolutely vile. 

Bedding was clean though underneath the burnt cover. All in all awful and wouldn't let my worst enemy stay. 

DO NOT STAY HERE

Dirty, noisy, smelly, humid, a real nightmare. I spent the night hoping insects would not climb on the bed. The bed linen dirtiness forced me to sleep dressed and over the bed. The bathroom was shared with hand soap (called toiletries in the site s room description) and every time someone flushed the floor trembled and seemed to have an elephant making noises. The wardrobe was broken. Feared for my valuables and safety. Don't waste your money here, better to sleep in the street.

Goddis lodge

Horrible place, like a building site turned into a hotel. Very loose carpet on stairs, toilet tap spins round, no hot water in shower, shower head doesn't fix properly on to the wall bracket.

I was asked to pay, when I had already paid online, maybe honest mistake, but I doubt it. 

Reception guy barely said a word while I stood there for 5 minutes, watching him work up the enthusiasm to give me my room key. Zero manners. I say reception, it's a tiny manky room, turned into one.

Room was clean, despite all its faults. Bed was knackered, thin bed sheets, made for a cold night's sleep. Horrendous noise from toilets above.

All in all I didn't feel safe and worried for my belongings when I ventured out. 

Didn't think it could get this bad. Don't go!

Crap place ended up not staying  
Very poor reviews everywhere except Agoda ???
The Manager was difficult to deal with 
Is on a very loud very busy thoroughfare 
Will not book anything through agoda again VERY FALSE REPRESENTATION !!!
