I think 1 star too high, the hotel was horrendous. Room was filthy, bed sheets covered in suspicious brown marks. Pillows looked yellow. 

Needs a serious deep clean or to be closed down. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Do not stay here. You have been warned ⚠️

Last minute booking for ride london a hotel that wouldn't cost me the national debt.

Didn't expect much for the price and didn't get a lot!

Before they checked me in they insisted on showing me the room incase I didn't like it, but regardless I wouldn't have had a choice or it would mean sleeping in car!!! Had to pay a deposit for room this was not advertised.

Room was basic and tv had no ariel cable, I had one in the car so was able to watch Tv

There is a small carpark which was full, thankfully parking is free at the weekends on the roads. However the staff asked me to move mine even though it was on a public road as they had a delivery.

Bed was average comfort but sleep was disturbed as night was hot and I had windows open and was woken due to onsite party with fireworks. OK 10pm was early but I had to be up at 4am to get to ridelondon start.

Bathroom was dated but shower worked fine.

Sadly corridors smelt of weed.

Left at 4:30am reception was 24/7 they paid back my deposit without checking anything.
I would only stay here again at last resort


Honest Review

Myself and my boyfriend were stranded in London and had trouble finding somewhere to stay. This was the only place available. 

And for £50 I honestly would have expected more. 

Three single beds and a TV that didn’t work properly. 

We joked about and said the Candyman was going to get us but we double checked the door all the time. If either of us wanted to go to the toilet down the hallway we made sure we went together! 

This was because the Uber driver told us it was a known place for crackheads to pick up from. 

The bloke at reception could not really understand what we was talking about, but was friendly enough. 

To be honest I didn’t sleep a wink and neither did he. 

We both left feeling worse than when we went in! 

2 measly small towels to shower with. Yeah no thanks mate. 

The beds were creeky and the mattresses bumpy. 

I would not recommend this place. If you are that desperate don’t bother with this one. Trust me

Something out of a Horror film

Difficult breathing in a room full of dust. Dangerous fittings and facilities, no maintenance at all. No toilet paper in the dirtiest bathrooms ever. Told not enough staff. No towels available. No tea/coffee in room... don't know if there is any wifi. No furnitures, no chair, no cupboard, no hangers... Dirtiest room ever, marks of spitting on mirror, prints of shoes on the wall, bed sheets have dark brown and black traces all over, kitchen facilities dirtiest ever, full of grease on walls, hairs and dirt on floor, leaking hot tap, bin overflowed with trash, rotten food in the fridge. The bathrooms have hairs all over, some cob webs, dust, black dirt on curtains, toilet cubicle unfixed  with hairs, ... all over. Smokers in front of building bring all the smoke inside rooms directly upstairs. If you dare to try and bring your kids along, you may have to end up in GP due to the health concerns and unimaginable filthy living conditions. When trying to complaint, no one to complain to. Reception man evening time has no clue about manners, customer care, health and safety blaming it all on lack of staff. When seeking the boss, there is no boss. Not fit to lodge animals so certainly not human beings! Don't be fooled by the many awards you see on the wall upon entrance, how did they get this???

Worst Hotel Ever

We had booked a (pleasant) double luxury room with bathroom but there was no bathroom (a shower), refrigerator, ventilator, bathroom, small dots of dry hair,... after the subway station, no equipment that had been allocated to a higher level of the dining room was in the same condition as the rest of the hotel, so we decided to go to the hotel. We finally took a look at the hotel's parking lot, which was located in the hotel's Lino's Hotel, a small hotel room.

The first time we promised ourselves not to go back to a place we stayed!

I stayed at The Barking Park Hotel for one night whilst working in London. I would describe the hotel as okay. 

My room was basically clean but there were a few issues that were of concern. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black damp spores and there was a very rusty towel rail. The decor in the room looked like it hadn't been touched in 20 years. I wasn't provided with a towel so I couldn't have a shower. (I didn't bring a towel with me as I would expect any hotel with en-suite facilities to provide the basic essential of a towel). The room contained a kettle with tea and coffee making facilites, a clothes hanging rail, a tv and a rusty fridge. There was some new/ modern LED lighting throughout the room. 

My main concern whilst staying at the hotel was that I was instructed, along with all the other guests, to leave my key in a bowl that was located on top of the reception counter, whenever I left the hotel. Whilst I was informed that there will always be someone on reception, this didn't make me feel comfortable at all. I got the impression that anyone could pick my key up, either intentionally or by mistake. I left any belongings of value in my car as I felt that was safer. 

The hotel looked as though it could do with some TLC and modernisation throughout but then I guess this is reflected in the price.  

After having highlighted my issues with the hotel, for the price, I would probably would stay at there again. This would be with the knowledge that the rust and damp issues were rectified. I certainly wouldn't want/ expect my family to stay here.

Not great but issues could be easily rectified

Stayed here for 1 night due to work, drove around for 30 minutes to try and find a car park when I went in to ask where the closest car park was and I got a reply of 'I suggest you try and find one yourself as we do not provide one' which I think is very rude and unhelpful, after finally finding a car park to stay in we walked back to the hotel to be told we had been changed rooms which was not a problem when we got the the room there was 2 double beds the receptionist told us to just use 1! When my partner opened the fridge it smelt awful and rotten even though the fridge was off it stunk the room out. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, thought it would be a nice change from staying in a travelodge but I was horribly mistaken!!

RUDE AND ROTTEN

The most disgusting and dirty hotel I've ever stayed in, asked to change rooms to be told nothing was available and that they were clean, mould growing in shower, dust everywhere. 

Bought my own bleach and made sure every inch of that room was bleached - bought clean sheets so I didn't sleep in the dirty sheets.

Do not o anywhere near this dirty rotten creepy hotel.The purpose of my stay was a funeral to attend.This is one of the worst hotels i have stayed in not fit for a dog to stay here. My single bed was rocking and noticed it was broke. Pillows stunk ,dirty curtains and black mildew on shower curtains.Only 1 hanger in the wardrobe and when i complained about thisi was told i should of requested hangers when booking.What a load of rubbish.I had to lay my funeral clothes on the bed.The guy on the desk will win u over with his smutty charm but i guess he has to be charming to his guests to keep him in this job,he wasnt at all considerate or understanding of how i felt after not having any sleep in this HOTEL FROM HELL.This hotel does not deserve a nil rating.

HOTEL FROM HELL

Day 1 get put in the ‘family room’ as the one I booked isn’t available. The room is labelled as the breakfast room. Worryingly it appears to have no fire escape and a room within a room locked with a fire door sign on it that said it shouldn’t be shut but it is. The radiators don’t work. The TV is broken. There’s a kettle but no tea/coffee or mugs. The radiator has a suspicious stain on it in the bathroom. 
Day 2 asked to have the gates opened to drive out get asked what room I’m in. Then how many of us there is. Sensing where this is going I tell the receptionist and point out it’s the room they gave us. Get asked when I’m leaving tomorrow. Not welcoming. 
Breakfast was meant to be served with the booking. None was forthcoming. 
Room doesn’t get serviced. Get a poor nights sleep due to the 4 hour fight that appears to have broken out. When checking out get grunted at. Shocking.
