I checked-in to my room at approximately 14:00. On returning at around 23:30, my key card didn't work and there was a man in my room and my bag was gone.

At reception this man, who was either drunk or on drugs, continually tried to start fights with myself and the staff. The staff eventually found my bag though they didn't say how it got back to reception.

I asked the staff for a refund, they said I'd have to wait till morning and ask the manager. I did and she offered an e-voucher which I doubt I'll receive and don't really want.

Don't leave anything in your room and I would stay elsewhere if you are a single female traveller.

Security issues - don't leave anything in your room

Stayed for 4 nights, definitely one of the better lodges, much improved with current team. Pizza's one evening well prepared and tasty. Extra pillows available in bedroom, towels, toilet paper etc. replenished on demand - room heating easy to adjust. All in all a perfectly acceptable stay.


No complaints

Clean, with friendly staff on reception, but as Travelodges go, it's showing its age. Free parking, but only for a handful of cars. Had breakfast around 9am. Almost all the hot items had gone. Staff watched TV rather than replenish anything. Go somewhere else for breakfast.

Clean, but needs a refurb.

Bad stains on carpet as you get into bed. Fluorescent light behind bed not working. This has happened many times before. Only one face towel when there are 2 guests. Restricted parking due to new pet shop next door.

Happy to report the hotel is clean, fresh and has a cafe bar on the premises. Late evening food ok but nothing to write home about. 

Parking is limited but free and I’ve had no issues. 

Staff are friendly and helpful especially receptionist Toni who was outstanding today. 

The lodge our company often uses in London is not a patch on this one so I’ll be recommending that we change.

Heavy smell of smoke in bathroom, insufficient towels, no shower gel, cannabis smell in corridors, loud tvs, poor bedlinen. Receptionost fella was okay but seemed busy with others matters. Weird kindergarten gathering in food area. Altogether unsatisfactory stay. 
Not cheap either.

Bed sheets were dirty, loo roll hadn’t been replaced. Strange marks and stains around the room and a very unpleasant stale smell in room and bed. Staff was very unprofessional and not focused on the job. Outside the hotel kids smoking. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable. 

Not clean

Room was clean, but no storage at all. Pillows were also very lumpy and it was chilly as there was only 1 thin quilt.. Also I was woken up at midnight by a couple in an adjacent room having a very loud and aggressive shouting match. They were also banging the doors loudly and seemed to be in the corridor. This went on for quite a while and I was very uncomfortable as a woman on my own. I couldn't go to reception to report this as i was scared to leave my room. I was shocked at the level of noise and that no one from the Travel Lodge noticed this and put a stop to it.  I did report this to the reception in the morning  at 6.30am but they refused to give me a refund or the managers contact details. This was my first time staying in a Travel Lodge., I  have tried to contact the Travel lodge  and ask for a refund, i will update here whether they get back to me. The hotel is being used to house the homeless, i found this out after my stay after googling..

Very Noisy!

Lovely receptionist on arrival.  Guy in bar (Bruno, I think) also nice.  Clean rooms generally nice inside.  Leading up to it, old empty alcohol bottles, rubbish and plastic bags and cups! 
The smell of weed on our floor was so strong, I felt a little high!!!
Breakfast absolutely awful, no vegetarian option, so if you don’t eat bacon and sausages tough!  The scrambled eggs (and I’m guessing that’s what they were) were tasteless and had sat for so long they had sort of rubberised! There were about 12 dried up mushrooms.  Next time we will definitely eat out because for the price, I could get a veggie option, plus a choice of cooked eggs.  Not impressed really.  
I gave 3 stars because the room was clean and comfortable and it was fairly quiet

Not impressed

I had a short overnight stay in London and spent the day in Oxford before arriving at the hotel late in the evening. The lady at the reception was lovely and the hotel is modern and really clean.  I recommend the hotel for breaks in London - the area is a good neighbourhood and has excellent public transport links to central London and other parts of North London.  Good hot shower and the room was impeccably clean.
