Stayed at Pevith Barns for 3 nights in late Sept 2021.   Andrew and Teresa were marvelous hosts, quick with tips to the local sites and directions on the best way 
to get to said locations.

The rooms are incredibly cozy,  and  the  breakfasts  very well done.  Different specials every day.   

You'd be hard pressed to find a nice place to stay.  JH-PK

Coastal Magic

This beautifully managed bijoux hotel, although small, will not disappoint.
Andrew and Theresa are highly experienced hosts and the standards are exceptionally high. This period barn conversion has been completed to a very high standard with the room that we stayed in tastefully decorated and very much in keeping with the age of the property.
The selection for breakfast in the morning was extensive and freshly locally sourced, prepared to perfection .
The location for a break in Cornwall is ideal being well located making everywhere within reach.
Having spent forty years traveling the world in my career I am unable to find fault with Penvith Barns.
Very Highly recommended for a quiet getaway.

Outstanding bijoux hotel.

Just arrived back from a totally enjoyable 5 day break at Penvith Barns. This is a stunning place surrounded by beautiful countryside yet within 2 miles of Looe. We stayed in the Dairy Room which was so spacious and airy, it had everything we needed. 
Breakfast was plentiful and with lots of options, enough to set you up for the day! 
Andrew and Teresa the hosts are the perfect hosts, they are so knowledgeable of the local area and nothing is too much trouble for them. 
I would definitely recommend this lovely B&B for a trip to Looe😊

Amazing property with great hosts

What can I say,  everything about this B& B was just perfect!! We spent 5 nights in The Dairy room, which was large and airy. 
Everything you need is in the room , fridge  tea and coffee facilities,  nice toiletries, comfy beds etc. 
Andrew and Theresa who run it couldn't have been more helpful,  they gave advice on where to visit how to get there and much more.
Breakfast was a treat, full Cornish breakfast or a daily special which was served with a smile by Theresa and cooked by Andrew every morning. 
All in all an exceptional  place to stay and we really hope to return (even though we live 400 miles away !)

Perfect summer break

A rather nostalgic trip for us as we first visited many years ago just after Penvith first opened.
Theresa and Andrew run Penvith with the same enthusiasm and care as did Alison and Peter, the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with all the little extras you need.

Andrew cooks a great breakfast with very local produce and is very happy to prepare practically anything you would like in any combination.
The breakfasts are excellent quality and the sausages are some of the best you could taste anywhere.

Penvith is a great base to explore Cornwall and you would be hard pressed to find better quality/value nearby.
Great standards and a very friendly approach with excellent local knowledge.
It truly was like stepping back for us and lovely to see Penvith being loved and cared for once again.
Thank you Theresa and Andrew for a fantastic stay and making us feel so very welcome, I’m sure we will be back.

Nostalgia revisited

Just spent two nights at Penvith Barns and what a pleasure it was, extremely welcoming owners, very knowledgeable about the local area and we took the advice.. The breakfast was superb, sausages and hog roast were awesome. The room we stayed in was lovley, very clean and perfect for us and our two cockers... Andrew and Theresa were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome...if we come back to Looe this is where we will be staying.

Outstanding

Neither of us could fault Penvith Barns. Andrew and Teresa were absolutely exemplary hosts, and what we particularly enjoyed was their authenticity and honesty around the local area. It really contributed to a great overall break away. 

The room was spot on, nice and cool, clean and simple - everything we wanted. The breakfast was again perfect - the slow roasted sausages were exquisite and the hogs pudding was perfectly done.

Cannot fault it - would 100% recommend to anyone in the area, and we’d definitely stay there again.

Absolutely perfect

Loved our stay at Penvith Barns! Andrew and Teresa made us feel so welcome and had excellent local knowledge. Great location with fab views and good access to Looe, Millendreath, Polperro and Seaton. Cooked breakfast was fabulous and our room 'The Dairy' was lovely and cool despite the boiling weather! 
Our 11 year old loved feeding the animals and insisted we return next year, which we will! :) Highly recommended and great value for money.

Excellent :)

Partner's birthday celebrations, wanted to go somewhere in the country where there is plenty of beach food and chill time. PENVITH BARN ACCOMMODATED IT ALL! Not just a guest house but tourist guide too 
The couple Andrew and Teresa, nicest people ever so genuine and so welcoming. CORNWALL/ LOOE wouldn't have been the same experience without the knowledge and hospitality of the awesome couple.
The accomodation is barny but so cute, facilities are great. Breakfast was super everyday! 

All in all hospitality was superb and I am from the same field and can be picky! But Andrew and Teresa left nothing for me too pick! Highly recommend it u want a quiet getaway.

Lovely Cute Relaxing getaway for a young couple

We were lucky to discover this charming place.
The hosts are really lovely,they make your stay so special.

The room was very comfortable,the daily breakfast is superb,with a choice of a daily special.
Fantastic little extras like having fresh milk and a small kitchen to use if you wish.
Also lovely hand wash and shower gel.

we had a fabulous time and would stay  here again.
