A nice, quiet hotel in suburbs of Maidstone with bus stop across the road going to the centre, very comfortable bed

A Great Value for Money

I stayed at this Premier Inn on Sunday 31st March 2024.
Unfortunately my mobile had very little charge left & I failed to bring my charger along with me & being such a prehistoric mobile,thought that there was very little chance of reception having a suitable charger.
To my relief & amazingly enough,they did.
All credit to Mark,the receptionist on duty.He found me a suitable charger after searching.Nothing was too much trouble for him.He was extremely polite,courteous & diligent.

Customer service.

The staff are really helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and spacious. The bed was really comfortable and we had the option of additional pillows (in a sealed bag). I was really impressed for the price. We only stayed one night and it was perfect for our needs. This is a budget hotel providing an excellent service.

Excellent budget hotel - very clean and great customer service

Really disappointing stay. 

Stayed with my partner as we were having a little weekend getaway. Check in was great, Edit was the perfect person to greet us, and was very nice. 

The issue we had was with the thermostat and bathroom (the tao was leaking, but that wasnt the main issue). We had the heating on during the evening, but when it was time for bed, I tried turning it down, but the room just seemed to get hotter and hotter. As it was quite late (1.30am), I didn't want reception in our room trying to fix it. I looked at the thermostat guide on the table, and even googled how to fix it... nothing was working.

We opened the window fully and even opted to sleep on the little sofa bed thing next to the window, still far too hot. 

I then conceded and went to reception and was given a fan, but even with it on, it didn't make much a difference.

In the morning, I returned the fan (having had no sleep at all), where the maintenance guy said "are you in room 58" is said yes, he said "there's a fully tap and thermostat in your room" I said yes. He said "yeh it's on my list of things to do, I'm going to go up and take a look at it now"

What troubles me about that, is that I didn't tell reception about the tap, so it tells me these repairs were due to be dealt with before our arrival. 

Therefore, we were knowingly given a room that required maintenance. 

I'm not usually one for reviews, but I can confidently say I will not be staying at a Priemier Inn again. Not expecting 5 star treatment, but a comfortable night's sleep should be guaranteed.
 

Staff were lovely, Room was horrendous

Hotel was fairly basic but clean and had everything we needed. 
All staff were friendly and helpful in particular the reception team and also Dave who went over and above to provide us with a route home avoiding the M25 closure 👍

Staff made our stay

We found Allington Premier Inn to have a staff of exceptionally polite and happy people and this together with their traditionally comfortable bedding have us a stay which was beyond our expectations.

Friendly and Caring

I was staying at Allington as a base for a wedding I was attending with members of my family. We were given rooms close to each other without even having to request this. My elderly father has just moved to a flat in the Royal British Legion complex. The location is ideal for anyone visiting family in Ayelsford or Maidstone Hospital. Close to M20 yet very quiet in the hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food in the Beefeater was nice. Very generous portions and big choice of food for breakfast

Very enjoyable stay

When we checked in, there was only 1 person on the booking although I booked for 2.

I also requested a twin room but only 1 bed had been made up, and it was only a double bed not king size! We have a super king size, so was not a lot of room

Room not as requested

quiet  and very comfortable, pleasant staff who were keen to help, clean and welcoming.the food on hand at the restaurant was of good quality. Only one small niggle there was not enough ventilation in the room for us, the window was small and for security reasons could not be opened very wide. The provided fan helped but was too noisy.

Stayed 3 nights , room clean & everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Staff very friendly always spoke when passing reception 
Breakfast was wonderful plenty to eat & lots of choice. Catherine was lovely on our first morning explained how breakfast worked & was very polite & friendly 😊
We will return 😊
