Sadly we didn't get a room because when we visited, the carpark was full of people standing around smoking cigarettes & we were turned away as the hotel is now being used to house asylum seekers. Another hotel we can no longer use 🤬.   Honestly, finding a hotel whilst working away is becoming a bit of a nightmare. Not happy!

I have breakfast here every Friday since it’s across the road from my work  good  service friendly staff and the manager she always polite and friendly definitely recommended for a good breakfast and value for money

I stayed at this hotel for work and the hotel staff were ok just the problem of only having there was one room card in the entire building. My towels smelt of cigarettes and the feel of them werent soft

Disgusting rooms and dirty towels

Had a 2 night stay at this hotel and was very satisfied. After reading some awful reviews I was apprehensive. Quick booking in. .lovely helpful lady on reception.. I asked if I could have a quiet top floor room and I stayed in number 30. This is a really spacious room with a super king size firm and comfortable bed..The attic room had a small window... good ventilation...excellent heating and effective blackout curtains... plenty of hangers and wardrobe plus drawer space. .. 2 chairs. ..decent sized smart tv too.... Bathroom was large and clean with shower over the deep bathtub... very clean and plenty of towels. FREE grab n go breakfast in reception.... Pub across the carpark and opposite a bus stop.. only a fiver for an all day bus ticket to the city centre. Will definitely be back... less than £40 a night much quieter and better value than city centre.... cheers

Relaxing quiet spacious and comfortable

Stayed here previously when it was a Premier Inn. I liked it then and I like it now. Friendly staff, clean rooms and lovely comfy beds. Room was an excellent size and it was so reasonably priced. Reception staff were really accommodating and happy to meet our requests. Would I stay again absolutely. Oh and a great touch is the complimentary breakfast in the reception area. Great Hotel

Room smelled foisty as you walked in we had to leave the window open all day.the tap in the bathroom wouldn’t stop dripping.the bathroom floor was cracked.the net and around the windows were mouldy.the wall behind the bin was dirty.the carpet was stained.terrible and all weve been offered was 4,000 privelidge points and told to open a privelidge account after us saying we won’t be staying there ever again.

Disappointed

We stayed 2 nights to see family and visit the Lightopia installation in Heaton Park (brilliant). Excellent value, clean room with impeccably descaled kettle and big comfy beds. Hilarious staff. No food but friendly food pub next door open 4 brekkie on weekends. Location quiet but very convenient for motorways. Will def stay here in future

Suprisingly good!

Only there for a night.  Staff all OK, first room offered contaminated by smoke, given another one which was OK.  Room facilities were all OK with the exception of the bed and pillows.  Have to admit, one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept in in years.  The pillows were thin and at the end of a very restless night, me, the good lady and our bad backs were happy to be on our way.  The co-located pub 's kitchen was closed when we went to eat so had to trawl round looking for an alternative.

Absolutly fab night food came out for us a party of 19 (yes 19) all on time delicious and well presented host were efficient and manager very accomadating nothing too much trouble thank you comfort inn and your staff definatly a pub worth visiting 👍

Memory walk

Having chosen to stay here due to it's proximity to Heaton Park, which I needed for The Colour Run yesterday; rather than stay in the City Centre, where I usually stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel.
The overwhelming positive of this hotel and by far its biggest assets are it's staff; particularly the warm, friendly, smiley housekeeping staff, who, unlike other hotels I've stayed take pride in their work and  interacted with me. Very pleasant. We were also allowed into our rooms early on arrival as they were ready.
The hotel is budget and therefore is not a glitz and glam place, (the bathrooms could use a little sprucing up) but it was clean, with a large comfortable bed, fresh towels daily (& in abundance). I didn't have to ask for extras as I do in some hotels where they provide only 1 bath and 1 hand towel. 🙄
Parking is free.👍 Despite its location next to a pub, it was a  quiet stay (stayed Friday and Saturday!) - no disturbances.
It is a little outside of the city centre and therefore if you don't want to drive there, it will cost between £16 (for two of us) & £22 (we needed a larger vehicle on 2nd night as we had 5 passengers) if you need a taxi.
I would stay here again, if needing to be there s side of Manchester, mainly as it very reasonably priced.
