We met some friends here for lunch a couple of weeks ago.  We all 4 found the menu and food very good and the staff were excellent. They also accommodated our 2 dogs very well.  I would definitely recommend this place for a lovely meal in a dog friendly environment.

Excellent food and service

We have stayed at many greene kings and this is one of the top tier, food and beer is just as you should expect and so is the service and rooms. Special thanks to Elisha who  made it feel like home from home. Thanks to all the staff at Fieldhead Hotel for an excellent stay.

One of the best in its area!

Stayed here for a business  trip for three weeks, rooms comfortable & clean. Staff very welcoming. Was served  by Elisha, most nights & was a credit to the hotel.
Would  recommend  for a quite central  location  to the Midlands , lovely  location also if you have free time.

Business  trip

We have only been using the pubs & Restaurant side of the Hotel for the last few months, but we find the quality and presentation of food to be excellent. Good value considering g the quality and size of portions.

We’ve been at lunch times and early evening and this pub has the advantage that we can also take the dog with us, who is welcomed and accommodated.

Well done to all, looking forward to our next meal, Sunday roasts are excellent 👍

Excellent food and a good Team

Thanks  to all  the team at the Field Head Hotel for the fantastic meal we were served today, The steak and gammon cooked by Kian and his team were absolutely faultless.We go there regularly and from reception, front of house and kitchen staff all brilliant.

This hotel stay was lovely. Lovely hotel. Thought of everything in the room. Iron , fan , tea and coffee facilities. Comfortable bed. Comfortable room. Great bar with lovely staff. Lovely breakfast staff. Lovely breakfast, thought of everything on the buffet table , beautiful. Reception staff lovely both days. Very welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic comfortable thought about hotel

Stayed 3 nights recently at the Fieldhead Hotel. First impressions very good, met by the very friendly receptionist Miriam, very welcoming. Our room was as expected, nice size and very clean, bathroom looked to be revamped and nice size, fluffy white towels. room overlooked carpark but no noise, carpark good size. Breakfast very good although one day no bacon avalable but Chef topped up elsewhere, we had evening meal each day and food very good as was the service, staff are very friendly even though busy, these things are important to me so would not hesitate to return at some point. Have only one small gripe, would like to see cereal and fruit covered up or in a container rather than open bowl.

Very enjoyable stay.

Very impressed with the hotel , both receptionists were friendly and helpful at check in and out. The room was very nice , comfy bed , pillows and bedding. The shower was powerful and we were grateful of the fan as it was rather hot when we were staying. Our room was nice and quiet with no noise from other guests. The food in the restaurant was brilliant - compliments to the chef !  We ate at dinner and for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. No negatives at all just good things to report. Plenty of free parking , good hairdryer , tea and coffee and toiletries there is even an iron in the room and the TV is a decent size too. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great Stay

We recently had the chance to stay for two nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the room was sizeable with a designated seating area - a quiet spot even though directly above the public bar and restaurant - the food was delicious, definitely recommend getting breakfast as part of your stay - have never had such delicious poached eggs and fresh, local fare

Fantastic Stay - Country Charm

Comfortable and clean accommodation. Plenty of room and well equipped bedroom with comfortable bed and bedding. Good food. Excellent breakfast.  Very pleasant and helpful staff. Only reason we didn’t give it a 5 rating was slow breakfast on our second morning.
