Friendly hosts and run to a high standard . Comfortable bed, good food and excellent hygiene. We stayed for a week and this was a good centre for exploring the area around eastern Exmoor. The house was located in a very quiet and attractive location.

Excellent B and B

This is a lovely place to stay. Had a fab Easter weekend and loved ordering breakfast the night before. It was, then so fresh in the morning, with no wastage. Also the fresh milk in the fridge in the hall way, by the bedrooms, was a nice touch. So much better than the sachets, with coffee in the morning. 

The hosts are so friendly and nothing was too much effort. Okay the parking can be  difficult but the whole of Dunster is like this (Medieval village not built for cars). We found a spot in the main High Street, which was free and parked for the whole weekend and walked to the B&B. The B&B  and Dunster as a location are so lovely. Please visit this lovely accommodation. Room 3 was great!

What a great stay....definitely would stay again.

An absolutely delightful B&B, tucked away in a quiet and idyllic part of Dunster by the pretty River Avill. Extremely welcoming hospitality (from Karen, Peter and the gorgeous Eric) and immaculately well-appointed accommodation. A  perfect spot as a base for walking and exploring Exmoor. Although the parking is a bit of a juggle, it did not detract - and many other places in Dunster are without parking altogether. A lovely, relaxing break. Go!

Perfect location

Sweet cuple hosting this B&B. Beautiful, quiet surroundings in the pittoresque little village of Dunster. Big room and bathroom, very good bed. Excellent breakfast. Can't think of anything negative at all. We really enjoyed our stay :-)

Beautiful, excellent service

An excellent B&B with fantastic hosts, Pete & Karen and a great breakfast. Spotlessly clean, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in room no 3, which is spacious and well appointed. Free parking is available on site from approx. 5pm to 10am otherwise there are nearby facilities. An added bonus is that Dunster has a wonderful selection of restaurants, all within walking distance.

Book with confidence - don't hesitate

Being members of the NT we looked at this lovely looking b&b to book , and felt we were lucky to get the dates we wanted for 3 nights . Karen & Pete were great hosts providing a good brekky to start the day in this great location where as if you fell over you would land in the grounds of the Dunster Castle estate ( entrance 20 seconds walk away). Lovely large bedroom & bathroom and so peaceful over looking some of the picturesque landscapes of Dunster........a lovely experience !!

Marvelous Mill House

Our visit here was fantastic. From the moment we arrived you can tell the owners here love running the accommodation. The room was lovely (excellent shower and the best tea making facilities I’ve ever had in any accommodation). The breakfast was amazing also. Situated next to a river and a water mill, we loved the views and the sounds of running water. The pictures do not do justice to this place and it is far better than we expected. Our only concern at booking stage was the parking. We need not have worried as just round the corner in Park Street there was a car park that always had spaces. Nearby there is Dunster Castle, Minehead and Lynmouth to visit. There are also some great pubs and restaurants in the village too. We really could not fault this place. If you’re looking for a great place to stay, and if it’s available!!!, you cannot go wrong booking here for a picturesque stay in an amazing English village.

Fantastic B&B in picturesque Dunster

We enjoyed our time at this friendly B and B. Karen and Pete were very good hosts and the tea and cake on arrival was really welcome.

The house is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts very good.

Unfortunately, we chose to stay at the hottest time of the year and were only able to open a small part of our window. We were provided with a fan though, which did help.

We hope to return in the near future. Thanks for the stay!

Great stay

Stayed her for 2 nights at the start of our holiday. Pete and Karen were perfect hosts and offered us a warm friendly welcome. The guest house is at the end of a quiet lane over looking the river and the fields. We stayed in room 3 which was a good sized room with a modern ensuite. Everything we needed was there including the use of a fridge on the landing where fresh milk for our room was provided. A lovely touch. Pete and Karen also provided additional sanitizer in the room. They provided a torch to use on late night returning as the land was quite dark. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, cooked to order and served to us. I can't fault  this place and would definitely stay again when in this area. 

Perfect location on edge of Exmoor

This is the second time we have stayed at the Mill House B & B and we were not disappointed with this visit.  The owners had worked hard on the cottage whilst in lock down and it was even more impressive than the last visit, and that one was hard to beat. 
The food, cleanliness and attention to detail was second to none.  Look forward to another visit in the future.
