An Creagan  cottages is such a beautiful stunning place.
The prices are fair and good 👍 
The hygiene is amazing and super clean and just spot on!!
There is so much amazing opportunities and activities to do in An Creagan!
It is especially perfect for the little ones too!
The view and area is superb and such a lovely place to be 😍
Also lots of restaurants shops food trucks so your never stuck!!
Lovely wee family holiday ❤️

An Creagan  cottages 

What a gem. We have a 3 & 6 year old and everything here is great for them. The houses are well appointed (we stayed in Crochman). They were lovely and warm in the spring temps and plenty of hot water. 

Great wee big walk, nature based playgrounds, lovely cafe to pop into, great forest walk and within east reach of Omagh, Enniskillen and the mountains. Cannot recommend enough if you also like dark skies - the place is littered with Neolithic features, walks and an observatory which os well worth a visit. Lots of mountain biking in this area too - so a real family adventure awaits! Also almost every forest park has a fabulous playground (and coffee!) so great for keeping wee ones happy in an exciting environment- a fabulous gem of a location!!

Gem of a location

Have just returned from my 2nd stay with my family and was not disappointed, this place really is a hidden gem from comfy accommodation perfect for self catering to a small nature walk to a 5K forest trail it has it all for a relaxing time away.
The visitor centre has lovely and welcoming staff who are very helpful and the food in the restaurant was outstanding..we had the 3 courses 2nd night of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it again the staff are fantastic which really made the stay all the more enjoyable.
It hope to return again and would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing few nights away.

2nd visit

Have stayed three times this year, at two separate cottages. In total, across the three visits we had 13 different people staying (ages 2 to 54) and every single person loved it. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, the restaurant is great and very good value, and the cottages are so well kitted out.
The landscape around the cottages is fantastic, as is the wider environment. Some scenery in that part of Tyrone!
Can't wait to get back...

Three visits in 2021 tells a tale!

This is the third time we have stayed at an creagan and we have enjoyed every one.The cottages are small but well fitted out and we found them very comfortable.They are in a good location for getting about and we drove around quite a bit.The site itself is a lovely place with lots of woodland walks. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and found it to be very good food,although somewhat expensive.Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back for a fourth visit.

Cosy cottages 

An Creagan is a lovely scenic spot with beautiful walking trails but unfortunately the restaurant is severely lacking and not worth visiting. Service was poor: we were ignored for quite some time, not given cutlery to eat our meals with, served the wrong drinks. Was very difficult to get any servers' attention. Meals were slow to arrive and very disappointing. Steaks were tasteless and very overcooked (and I suspect not sirloin, but rather a cheaper cut), chips were cold and greasy, burger was almost cremated. Very disappointing as this could be an excellent local dining spot if some effort was invested in the service and food.

Poor service and disappointing meal

Went to the big family picnic day, Easter Monday. It rained out and people had to have there Picnic's inside, where a terrible manger rudely insulted, mother's of children for doing so....said it was not aloud and get out , after the staff members who where brilliant, advised to eat in... I guess he got no degrees in business study's... Rude man....not what anyone would expect at a visitor Centre.

Terrible

We stopped off on our way to and from enniskillen the 2nd time we stopped in we got food as we had been driving for quiet some time. The food was soo good this place looks like a typical cafe but the food is off really good quality, I got the beetroot and goats cheese salad with garlic mushrooms and chips they made it as a meal as Im vegetarian and they didn't have anything I wanted an it was so lovely I would advise anyone who is passing to take a few hours out go for a walk visit the pond an do the walks then call in for food also the gift shop is lovely stocked with lots of local art and crafts

Really lovely

We were there for my Grandson's christening this summer.  It was beautiful, the cottages were awesome; spacious immaculate convenient.  The staff were wonderful.  My daughter and son in law had the babies party in the restaurant part and we had a great time.  Everyone from Cork, Derry, Monaghan, Dublin and New York had a great time.  Thank you An Creagan, excellent experience and will def be back.  My Aunt wants here 70th bday there :)

Awesome

My husband and I and our two children (3 and 3 months old) stayed for 3 nights in mid-July in the cottage 'Tornoge' and had a fantastic time. This 2 bed 2 bathroom cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus as this cottage is all on one level it was perfect with having young children. Our 3 year old loved being able to explore the immediate surroundings - forest trails, childrens' play park, pond dipping and the 'Wild Woods'. These are all within an easy 10 minute walk from the cottages and longer forest trails can also be easily accessed. There is a restaurant and coffee bar in the main visitor centre area, again within an easy 10 minute walk, where you are able to pick up wifi. There is no wifi in the cottage and we were both unable to pick up a phone signal but this meant we really had to switch off and relax which is what it's all about!! Staying here really does feel like you are getting away from it all in beautiful surroundings yet it's an easy 25 min drive into the county town of Omagh (we visited the Ulster American Folk Park, also very good). There is also a Vivo convenience store a 2 min drive away and larger stores in Carrickmore 3 miles away for any supplies you may need. Thank you An Creagan for a wonderful stay - my 3 year old didn't mention the IPad once and went to bed exhausted but happy every night which says it all! 😊
