The guests are lovely! a lovely couple with whom despite our very average level of English we were able to talk. The room is on the ground floor (3 rooms in total for a shared bathroom) This did not cause us any problems because we were alone that night there. There is really an atmosphere of being like home. Very good breakfast included in the price of the room A little out of the centre of Ballycastle, compulsory car.

Very good B&B

Stayed at Ma Browns for 5 nights in early-mid July 2016. The owner -- Geraldine -- helpful and immediately made me feel at home. I had the "pink" room -- a small single room with shared bathroom. Don't let that put you off -- the location and house amenities are great. Located in the south side of Ballycastle -- easy to go in any direction and just 1 minutes drive to city centre.
Breakfasts are substantial -- and come and go as you like.
For golfers, play Ballycastle(make sure you are reasonably fit). 
For tourists wanting to see the Giants causeway, GOT filming sites also go to the Carrick-a-Rede bridge.

A great Surprise

The B&b was on a housing estate in the middle of two houses and it was very noisy the bedroom was not great one bathroom for three bedrooms and it was not cheap the breakfast was poor and she did not seem to know what to cook or do for a Continental breakfast so we would stop there again

Ma browns

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not the same at this B&B. It's a gray row house that doesn't have any charm. It's also located in a sad neighborhood in the unspectacular town of Ballycastle. Our very small room, although it was housed in a new development, was set up in the uncomfortable backyard.

B&B to forget

When e'r you tour ol' Irelands's towns,  be sure you call into Ma Brown's, It nestles there in Ballycastle, where the welcome's warm and there aint no hastle. It's a shining gem on Antrim's Coast frequented by an excellent host. A first class lady named Geraldine who keeps your rooms smart and clean. For each and every nationality she provides great hospitality. The result is simple clear and plain Ma Brown's will see you, back again.

A Big Thank You

At £75 per night I expect an ensuite and a hot breakfast. Neither were provided. The host tried really hard, but doesn't seem to know what guests want. Location was good - Ballycastle is a nice town with good pubs and this was a quiet area of town. Parking was easy.  Owner does not live on-site - it would be difficult if a problem arose during the night - no contact details were provided.  At the right price this would be a reasonable stay for a couple of nights.
