Mark and Sabine could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer as this was a stay that was fantastic in every way! Beautiful property, great food and facilities in a great location to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas including Winchester Salisbury Bournemouth and the coast and many more! Could not recommend it more highly!

Fantastic in every way!

This is an absolute gem of a B&B, in a superb location.  The B&B comprises of 5 or 6 rooms & is run by Mark & Sabine, absolutely fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very special.

We stayed in the Helena room, which was very spacious comfortable.  The bathroom was luxurious and clearly a lot of thought had been taken with the décor and design.  All the fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard and it certainly would not have looked out of place in a 5 star hotel.

Similarly the breakfasts were amazing.  I had a full English breakfast both days, whilst my wife had scrambled eggs and salmon.  There was fresh fruit and pastries too and tea, coffee and juice. All freshly prepared by Sabine, a super cook.

Nothing was too much trouble for Mark & Sabine.  Their personal service and attention to detail was so refreshing and made our stay that extra bit special.

5 Star Quality

Sabine and Mark would go out of their way to satisfy their guess! My wife has an allergy and they catered for her needs very well! Close your eyes and just book it! You will not regret it!  The room and bathroom are modern and equipped with everything you need! 
The breakfast is plenty and deliciously fresh! 
Excellent room service !
The vegan breakfast was amazing as well as the non- veg one!

Better that a 5 star hotel treatment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sabine and Mark were very friendly and wonderful hosts, excellent Breakfasts with Home Made Elements added an extra charm.
En suite and room all very smart and up to date, comfortable bed.
Hosts booked a nearby Restaurant for our evening meal on Friday night of arrival, to ensure we could eat after a long journey.

Two Night stay for friends Daughters wedding

When we last stayed here around 2013/14 the accomodation and service was outstanding and the best we had experienced at that time. 
The present Proprietors, Mark and Sabine exceed that level of excellence by some margin, providing accomodation where they had thought of absolutely everything for their guests. 
The welcome, the rooms, the breakfasts and the very friendly and genuine hosts was first class. The rooms are spacious and finished to a very high standard both in respect of technology and comfort.
The Breakfasts were delicious and largely to suit with generous servings of fresh fruit, water, juices, Tea and Coffee. The perfect start to the day ahead.
Plenty of places for an evening meal in Ringwood.
The large part of what makes this place so memorable is the effort of the hosts on our behalf and this is impossible to exaggerate.
Free off road parking, absolute value for money and the certainty that we shall return in the Autumn make this a perfect base for a holiday in the picturesque New Forest.

Faultless accomodation

Stayed two nights last weekend as visiting daughter and loved the place.  Mark was welcoming as soon as we stepped through the door.  The room was tastefully decorated, spacious, immaculate and lovely touches.  The bathroom is really lovely, want one at home:).  We met Sabine at breakfast who is just as lovely and the breakfast was plentiful and filling.  Homemade cakes were provided each day that were delicious.  This is one of the nicest B and Bs we have stayed in.  We know the area quite well and it is a good base for exploring Dorset.  Highly recommended.

Fantastic B and B

We spent 2 nights at the Moortown and we were extremely comfortable and very well looked after. Our room was big and stylishly decorated with a luxurious en-suite.
Breakfast was indeed superb and the hosts even went so far as to provide my husband with the black pudding sausages he craved. 
We will certainly be back.

5 star stay

We booked a deluxe superking room for 1 night and it was beyond my expectation. Lovely big rooms, bath and walk-in shower. Lovely soaps / face wash in the room. Towels / robes and tea coffee making facilities all there. A welcome note with taxi info and wifi codes etc was there on arrival. Free parking also. Hosts were wonderful, very helpful and knowledgable about local area, offering restaurant suggestions etc. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel or bnb. We were even sent on our way with some homemade cinnamon buns - delicious! Thanks so much!

Wonderful accomodation + hosts

Moortown Lodge is a real home from home, but don’t let the fact it’s a B&B fool you. It’s like a mini boutique hotel. Rooms are fabulous - comfy beds and in my room, a huge bathroom. Tea and coffee amenities and even a faraday box for your car keys. Everything has been thought of.

Mark and Sabine were friendly and welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their breakfast had locally sourced sausages from the farm shop and was delicious.

I couldn’t have asked for more and would’t hesitate to stay at Moortown Lodge again.

Exceptional from start to finish

I stayed just one night at this beautiful boutique bed and breakfast in Ringwood. The bedroom was impeccably clean and tidy and the bathroom large with a brilliant shower and bath.

Sabine and Mark , our  hosts were friendly and on hand and provided us with the most amazing breakfast ( Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon on Sourdough Toast ) and I loved the homemade warm Cinnamon Twirls. I will definitely be returning to this lovely Georgian property when i return to the New Forest and is probably one of the best B & B'S I have stayed in the UK
