Usual expectations for a Premier Inn albeit much better than the Salford Quays PI which was drab, in need of a makeover and unwelcoming bar a couple of staff..
Media City on the other hand was newer and everything worked, such as the A/C. But...
Much more importantly, a couple of staff made it a much better experience, polite, friendly and accommodating, its amazing what a smile can do to make your day. Thanks Mike and the young lady with glasses and a lovely smile!

Comfortable, great shower, usual comfy bed and a couple of great staff (not all unfortunately)

Perfect location in media city. Hotel very clean, large spacious rooms. The only thing was it was very cold and the ‘heating’ was blowing cold air, went to reception who said all rooms are set to cold unless you ask for heating to be turned on, once on room was toastie warm.

Ideal location

From the time I checked in till the time I checked out the whole experience of staying at Premier inn Media city was excellent. As I arrived in the morning I was able to check in at 11am for only £10 extra which is great value. The room was spotless as was the bathroom which had plenty of towels and soap and shampoo dispensers. A great selection of teas and coffee were in the room with the kettle. Large TV on the wall, I  couldn't say anything bad about the room.


Excellent experience

The hotel itself is fine and as expected.
The staff are not the most welcoming and I felt like I was annoying them when approaching with a question.
There seems to be less breakfast options at this premier inn compared to other ones we have been to.

Great place to stay and convenient for the Lowry theatre and shopping mall. Tram stop 5 minutes away
Easy check in, very clean and quiet room. Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet.
Would definitely stay here again on a theatre trip.
 

Great location, immaculate room,

Stayed two nights, contacted the hotel in advance to request a quays view, allocated a room overlooking the car park, know it’s not guaranteed so fair enough,

Check in was quick and easy, room itself comfortable, kept awake one night by loud music from below but hotel can’t control that,

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, staff on the whole were friendly and helpful,

5 minutes walk from the Metrolink, car park £11 for 24hrs if you have your ticket from the NCP validated at reception, 

Young lad working in the morning with dark curly hair is a credit to Premier Inn, excellent member of staff.

Comfortable and Convenient

Lovely clean room,  all you could want in room view over dock, excellent value for money, wonderful helpful staff all round hotel, especially at reception, who booked our taxi before we arrived, and it was on time to take  us in to centre off Manchester, breakfast served to table, hot and tasty.

Excellent service

If you are looking for a decent nights sleep at an affordable rate Premier Inn Manchester at Salford Media City is excellent.
It’s very close to The Lowry Museum, the tram is a 5 minute walk away (which takes 15 or so minutes to the city centre).  There is a large well lit multi storey car park opposite.
There are numerous restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.  The hotel is new and is spotlessly clean.
We used the tram in the day time and Uber drivers had no problem finding the location when we needed them.

Excellent Location

Ground floor shared with other organisations and I think Premier Inn only has the top floors, so if you don't like stairs or lifts, this isn't the place for you. They are very strict about no check in before 3, but you can leave your bags and go for a wander. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable, mostly looked onto a multistorey car park, with small view of river. We walked from Media City metrolink, which was only a couple of minutes away. We got down to breakfast earlier than most and it was amazing value when the child ate free. Lots of options to fill you up for the day. Was very busy later. Wifi was good enough most of the time - enough to watch a video without glitching. What I really loved was a long firm pillow which turned the kingsize bed into a massive sofa for the TV, so you could sit and watch TV comfortably. Not sure that there was enough within Media City as a place to go back again, but if you need to be in the area would definitely recommend this as a good value and clean place to stay


Easy access to media City

Quiet comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Check in was quick and simple, and you just drop your keys and go when you're done. You are in a great location near a tram station with easy access to everything Manchester has to offer.
