My daughter and I stayed at Linden Guest House for three nights. The hosts, Carol and Jim, were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the old town, where there are many good restaurants, and Stirling Castle. It’s also about a 5-10 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast was very good. They also have two adorable dogs, Willow and Mac. I’d recommend Linden Guest House and will stay there if I ever am in the area again. 

Wonderful location

Fantastic accommodation in Stirling run by Jim and Carole who were amazing and outstanding hosts.  Just couldnt do enough for you during the 4 day break.  Modern and clean accommodation and an excellent hearty breakfast to start the day with even a wee draw of whiskey thrown in for good measures.  Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area - much more better than any hotel - 10 out of 10

Gleneagles visit

First and foremost, Carol is a wonderfull hostess and our two-night-stay at the Linden Guest house was a lovely way to end our trip to Scotland. 

The questhouse is a stones' throw away from the city centre and a large supermarket. It only took us maybe 10 minutes to walk up to main shopping street of Stirling, but the guesthouse is situated in a residential enough area that you're able to park your car on the road in front of the house for free.   

Our double room was around 160 pounds for two nights. This comes down to around 40 pounds per person per night, which I think is very affordable anyway. Considering how perfect everything is, it is even a better deal! Our room and bathroom were spacious, modern and very clean. Also, I loved the decor and furniture. The bed was big and lovely, there was a TV, a nice desk with mirror, a big wardrobe, bedside tables and a lounge chair. Everything looked crisp and very stylish. Also, I loved all of the additions that you wouldn't normally find at a guesthouse. Examples are the make up mirror, mini fridge, the fan and the little bookcase on the landing. This made me feel like no expenses were spared and the owners really thought of their guest comfort. Another nice touch was the binder with a ton of information on the city, it's history, the attractions and places to eat. I could tell a lot of time and effort went into making it. 

Breakfast was good too. There was the option of cooked breakfast, which was taken and prepared to order. Aside from that, there was a buffet style continental breakfast. Think different kinds of cereals, fresh fruits, yoghurts, deli meats and cheeses and some breadrolls. Everything was lovely, except I would have preferred fresh rolls, instead of the ones they had in plastic. However, I do get this choice from a food waste point of view. 

Upon checking out, we were able to pay by card, which was perfect as well. 

Carol was happy to chat and hard working and I also loved her two little dogs. Unfortunately we haven't had the pleasure to meet Jim. In the future I would definitely stay at this guesthouse again and if family or friends decide to venture of to Scotland, I will tell them to stay here!

Everything has been taken care of!

This guest house is easily accessible and 10 minutes from the city centre, room 3 very nice, breakfast is plenty and the owners are very friendly and available, I'm always surprised by the carpet everywhere and the way I walk on it with my shoes...but this is not special here.

It's perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this bed and breakfast.  The bed room and shower room was very clean indeed and the room was nicely presented. The cooked breakfast and breakfast buffet was good.  The fridge in the room was welcome as we put proper milk in for our tea and coffee in the room and we got picnic stuff so we could do some packed lunches for our day trips.  Our hosts were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble.  There were lots of drawers and wardrobes to put your stuff. We would come back for sure. Parking nearby.

Lovely clean bed and breakfast a short walk from City centre and supermarket

We spent 5 nights and had a great experience.  Jim prepared a great breakfast everyday, including fruit, yogurt, cereal, and a full hot breakfast if you desire.  Jim went out of his way to make our stay great. It is only a short 1/2 mile walk to the tourist area and even shorter to places to shop and eat.  Don't miss staying here. The dogs, Willow and Mack are helping Jim bring out breakfast every day.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Carol and Jim were so gracious and there home was beautifully decorated.The dining room was brightly decorated with table clothes and fine dinnerware..The breakfast was served to order and served hot, and delicious..Our room was large with a comfy bed and bedding.
Wonderful accommodations..Carol was so nice she made us feel like part of her family..

Lovely Bed & Breakfast

Very warm welcome from Carol, rooms clean and very tidy. Perfect breakfast from Carol and Jim, excellent fresh fruit salad. The city is within 10 minutes' walk, Carol had a great tip for a perfect dinner (at Allen Park).

Very good B&B with extremely friendly hosts

A very cute B&B , Carol is an amazing host , can’t do enough, delicious breakfast , very comfy and walking distance to shopping centre . Great area, lots to see and do and some sites within walking  distance. Few rooms available. Our room was upstairs.Great for couples. 

Warm place to stay

Not far from downtown, beautiful scenery, neatly furnished, family atmosphere, warm and comfortable, managers of indescribable courtesy, super accessory bathroom, impeccable cleanliness, the possibility of leaving the car inside their property, the possibility of enjoying a beautiful Scottish landscape from the windows, then breakfast, will leave you breathless. There is a nice puppy in the house, we loved it, but let's just say, he's free to circle and entertain guests in the common areas downstairs.
