This is our first visit to the guesthouse and would thoroughly recommend it. Clean well laid out disabled room with an excellent wetroom. Michael and Helen are supberb hosts who are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful- the fresh fruit being my favourite. 
Its a real shame its closing at the end of October as i would have loved to return next year.

Excellent guesthouse

We've been to see Michael and Helen a couple times now. 

Its in a lovely quiet location perfect for a clean night sky to blow you away with the stars. Michael and Helen make it there own, you feel included and its really comfortable to have a laugh with them. 
We all come away relaxed and refuelled. 

The stars to top it off for me, have a warm hot chocolate and watch the night pass bye.  Michael plays guitar and so does my brother. Jacob and Michael had a jamming session to red hot chilli peppers and more awesome music, while we chilled playing monopoly! 

Breakfast was cooked to perfection and look forward to making another visit soon! Thanks again  Michael and Helen! You are stars in your own rights.

Home to Home!! :)

My partner and I attended a wedding this weekend at the beautiful Otterburn Castle. Staff at Brandy Bank ensured our room was available ahead of time so that we were able to arrive at the wedding on time. We were greeted with a warm welcome, helped to our rooms and had breakfast arranged for us the following morning. The rooms had lovely views of the surrounding countryside and were clean and tidy. Above all the service at Brandy Bank was excellent!

An excellent stay!

 Mike has restored and modernised this old Coaching Inn into a very good place to stay  Our room was well equipped, clean and comfortable.  The bathroom was spacious with a brilliant shower and good supply of toiletries (much appreciated).  Mike cooked the evening meal which we all enjoyed.  Breakfast was just as good.  Mike and Helen are friendly hosts and made us all very welcome.  Thank you.


Inn with character.

My wife and I were going to a wedding in the area. We usually stay at hotels but after this we've been converted to guest houses! Michael was waiting to welcome us; take our bags to the room and make sure it was what we expected. (It definitely was). Helen was there to say hello and almost immediately we felt like we were staying with friends. Comfortable and clean room, superb freshly cooked food and the chance to talk to Michael, Helen and some other guests in a wonderfully relaxed way made this a stay we won't forget. We can't recommend this highly enough. Two nights stay and we felt we had more happy experiences than two weeks in a hotel. If you're in this area don't miss out!

Guest houses don't come any better

Michael is an excellent host. The rooms are spacious, in very good condition and well maintained. The breakfast....... the best in all of England!!! We can only recommend this guest house.

Very kind and thoughtful.

This guest house, located in a village near Hadrian's Wall and the Borders Abbey, is a small corner of paradise. The owner welcomes you very warmly (help to pack your suitcases, tea served in the living room...).

A Real Happiness

The rooms are new, clean and very well maintained, we had a family room number one, a very good breakfast with maximum availability on time.
