We had a lovely pleasant stay at court farm bungalows with 3 people plus a baby. When we arrived the bungalow was lovely and warm already heated for our arrival.  We stopped in bungalow number 5. The bungalow had been cleaned and was spotless. The only down fall was the bathroom did not have a proper shower only a rubber attchment. You will need £1 coins for the meter but it was no bother and wasnt expensive. We only put about £11 in and the heating was left on to keep it warm because of our granddaughter being so small, for the whole of our stay which was 4 nights. You need to take ur own bath towels with you as they do not provide these.  The tv is very small but I knew this already from the pictures.  Across the road there is a farm where you can take the kids and it is free to get in, all you pay for is the food to feed the animals which is 50pence if you want it.  The farm also has a small shop and an eating place with plenty of seating. Also there is a softplay area over the road at £4 per child under 10s. There is also a steam train station just down the road. And couple of pubs for eating out

This was our 3rd time at court farm bungalows, and it never lets us down.Great comfortable bungalow and great value for money.All bedding was clean and fresh and every room was spotless.The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome , we will be back next year and would highly recommend to all our friends and family.


Excellent place to stay 

Booked in for 4 nights totally awful never ever stayed somewhere so bad we should of really left but had to stay because of distants we traveled an unable to find anything else at such a short notice within our budget.
Filthy smelly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned totally over priced for a 70 s throw back.
Bathroom like something out of a horror show a rubber clip on shower attachment with low water pressure and water only heated by a coin meter which went through our money like no tomorrow.
Kitchen had a 70s cooker which was unusable and very costly.
Bedrooms disgusting cold with dead bugs on the carpet who ever cleaned it if ever it was cleaned most of been blind to miss such filth.they also stunk of damp like the windows had never been opened which I believe because they were in such a poor state they looked liked they were going to fall out.
Before we let our children enter we had to sterilise all the door handles because they were sticky and filthy the owners defo not following COVID 19 guild lines 
I challenged the owners about the state of the property the following morning as we arrived late only to be told no refund
When we were checking out the cleaner or who ever it was tried entering the property before we left with no mask or gloves I stopped them at the door ant told them about social distancing I would advise everybody to stay well clear of this nightmare 

Short break into hell

We stayed in the Bungalows on a business trip. They were clean, the beds were comfy, they were right next to the beach and despite being told to bring about £10 for the electricity meter for our stay, we only used £3 and that included a load of showers, cooking breakfast, our lunches and teas and evenings spent in the living room with the TV on. 

We’d absolutely stay here again - I’d return with my partner. 

Cozy, Clean, Comfy - Perfect

Thank you for our lovely stay, really cosy place to stay. Clean and conformable. Lots of oil filled radiators so it's warm too. Will definitely be staying again. Only a mile from watchet Town centre and the harbour. The people are really firendly and helpful.

Weekend getaway

These little chalets are great value for money. Clean and comfortable although need a bit of updating. Bathroom really needs a shower. However all other amenities you would require are here. I came on public transport. You need to be prepared for there being no shops or anything nearby. Watchet is a mile's walk or there is a free community bus service from right outside the farm. Runs 3 times per day. The electricity runs on a meter but £5 easily lasted my 3 nights. Heating was perfectly fine and they tell you in advance that it might be a bit cold. Some of the negative reviews seem really unfair. It's a great place and very good value.

Excellent location and lovely hosts

Had a lovely stay. The accommodation was basic but perfectly suitable for our stay. Beach only a stones throw away and owners were very obliging with doggy towels. We will definitely stay again. 💕Rafferty thoroughly enjoyed his stay too. 🐾

Dog Friendly accommodation 

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fab, with access to the beach and Doniford Halt station for the steam railway just a short walk down the road.  The views were superb.  

We stayed in no 3 and although the website advises that you can see the steam railway from here, we didn’t see one train during our stay but we didn’t mind. 

There are other reviews that mention the accommodation is dated and this is quite true.  However it’s very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. 

No 3 is to sleep 3.  There is one double room and a single room and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative is that the living space was small and a bit of a squeeze for three.  Having said this, we are the type of people who enjoy exploring and being outdoors so we didn’t stay in the accommodation to be inconvenienced by this anyway. 

Everything is run by electricity, paid for by a meter.  We didn’t mind this at all. The meter took about £3 over two nights and we had baths both nights. 

Tropiquaria Zoo is just down the road and we really enjoyed our visit there.  Torre Cider Farm was also nearby and we would recommend a visit here too. 

Great location!

I booked to stay here very last minute with my husband, and our 3 year old and 15 month old. It was great for a basic little trip away. Its a tiny little bunglaow, my hubby and 3 year old had the 2 single beds and the smallest one and I had the double bed. The owner made it really easy to check in which landed on the childrens bedtime. She was friendly and got us settled in quickly. The bungalow itself was warm and comfortable and we didnt need any of the heating provisions during our stay. Its in a great location
 So easy off the M5 on the main road going towards watchet and minehead. Its very remote and quiet but equally well connected and easy to get out and about. We went to the farm park across the road for a morning which was lovely. Lovely animals you can feed, really nice shop and restaurant with really good food and a huge lovely soft play. We drove out to wimbleball lake in the afternoon and went for tea in minehead in the evening. Its a really gorgeous part of the contry and theres loads to do round and about. 
Things to note would be: itd be really useful to have a plug bank and a black out blind. Its really bright early in the morning which is rubbish when youre 3 year old is clambering all over your face at 6 in the morning demanding porridge and paw patrol!!!! Also you can only use the kettle/microwave/toaster one at a time. 
With the electricity on a coin meter, the fridge isnt on when you arrive so chill your wine (or whatever you need to fridge) before you arrive. 
The shower temperature was really hard to control. There is a note in the welcome book about using a heated pool in a caravan park locally so i think id pop over there for a swim and a shower, if we were staying longer. 
All in all it was clean quiet and comfortable and fine for a little weekend "off grid"

Perfect for a weekend away

I was expecting basic with this booking but it was just really poor. The bungalow was tired and dated but the worst thing was how cold it was. So I thought I would have a hot bath to warm me up (no shower) but the water ran cold as heated by elec which had not been on due to prepayment meter. After a couple of hours and £4 later the little elec heater had still not warmed the bungalow up so we left and drove 3 hours to go home as I just wanted to be warm and comfortable. These are basic things you expect. As we left I noticed how well maintained their nice big house is with solar panels, whilst their paying guests are slumming it piling money into a prepay meter. Not for me!
