A comfy, spacious lodge with views of the Cleveland Hills and a hot tub. We loved our stay here. There are so many beautiful places nearby. The food at the pub is 
excellent, authentic Thai or british pub grub and very reasonably priced. Loved the fact the lodge is solid wood with two seating areas outside and a very quiet location.

Great place to stay

The most beautiful tranquil place. We have stayed here 3 times and evertime has been a pleasure. Absolutely beautifully kept everything you need for your stay. Luxury lodges beds are so comfy to. Will return for sure. 🥰

Beautiful luxury lodges

Went for Tea at 4pm. Pub was empty.  I asked the barman if they were still serving food and he just said NO without any  explanation as to why not.  I asked if they were serving food at all and he told me  that  food wasnt served until 5pm.  We decided to wait and we ordered some drinks. Asked for some pork scratchings later which they didnt have so we told barman we would wait for our tea and ordered  2 more cokes .Family came in  later asking for food and he told them it wasnt served until 5 so they asked if they could book a table. He told them they  were fully booked  and he  couldnt fit them in. We had sat there for 40  mins already waiting for 5 oclock so we could order our food  and not once did the barman inform us that at 5 we wouldnt be able to get a table even though he knew we were waiting to order food ..  I cant believe how rude unfriendly and patronising  he was telling me he didnt know we had come in for food ( which was a blatent lie) as some customers just come in for drinks and how was he supposed to know we wanted food. I  pointed out to him that my first question was are you still serving food? his answer was no and my second question was will you be serving food later and if so what time? He said I apologise for that madam in the most condesending tone ever . Our experience today was awful and we wont be back. We went to Y Thai in Stokesley and We had a wonderful meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Awful  service today

Lodge was fantastic with everything we needed , beds very comfortable & shower was first class apart from a soap tray would be handy. Only fault we had in lodge was the site of the tv was too high & would be much better on a table beside the window , no cricked necks then .
We had English  food in pub , not very nice as steak pie wasn’t “ home made” , chips were frozen & not very nice & vegetables were from a packet , put us off trying the Thai food

Stayed in one of the lodges. It was clean, very spacious for the 2 of us, bath was great shower area nice and big, Bed was comfy, plenty of amenities provided in lodge for making own food, also guides/instruction manuals were there if needed to operate oven and other appliances. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use. 

Best thing was how peaceful it was, sat outside in decking area just looking at scenery was great and really relaxing. 

Would happily go back and more than likely will. 

Romantic getaway 

Arrived over an hour early and was let in without issue. 
Lodge is fabulous, arrival wine & chocs. All modern with plenty of supplies - toilet roll, foil, dishwasher tablets. 
Bedrooms are gorgeous and the bath is great. 
Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

Great lodge - highly recommended

We popped in for drink in the afternoon and booked tea for the evening, I’m so glad we did as it was the nicest Thai food I’ve had since being in Thailand. The staff were brilliant and the service was excellent. If we’re ever back in the area we will 100% be back.

Nicest Thai food

Hoping this will generate a response as no one answers your phone, you have no voicemail facility, no Facebook message facility and no one has replied to my emails, so here we are...

We stayed in one of your lodges from 4/12/20-7/12/20 and I am still waiting for the £150 security deposit to be refunded to my card. Please advise when I can expect to receive this as I assumed it would be sooner than over a month later?

I’ve since been contacted from other customers in the same position, it would appear Jeff regularly withholds deposits and avoids communication! Small claims court and a big debt collector friend will be the next step, silly Jeff 🤷🏻‍♀️

Still waiting for security deposit - being ignored - avoid - scam

Really tasty lunch . Tempura prawns , salt and chilli chicken wings , prawn green curry and Squid and prawns in chilli sauce. Asked for my dishes (wings and squid ) Thai hot and they certainly delivered. They do a normal pub food menu also with Sunday roasts on so it’s a perfect to go when your group wants different things. 
 
Have the Thai food though. You won’t be disappointed 

Very tasty alternative to Sunday lunch 

My 1st time visiting this place and definately won't be the last. The interior and lighting in the pub makes for a lovely atmosphere, and the staff all very welcoming. We opted for prawn crackers( best I've had), dim sum and prawn toast for starters. The portion sizes are amazing, the prawn toast was fantastic! I could happily just go back for a plate of that. I ordered the sliced sirloin steak with massaman curry, flavours just blew me away. Absolutely gorgeous, the only thing I would of preferred would of been home made chips. 1st time i've had a meal out and had no room for dessert. From start to finish this was a great experience, and the way it's getting done with the current covid situation is 5 star! Felt really comfortable the whole time. Can't wait to go back, and hopefully leave room for dessert next time. Would highly recommend
