Poorly lit with difficult access.  Room keys had to be reprogrammed multiple times. Shabby room.  Dirty walls.  Dusty corners, holes in walls where things used to be.  Threadbare towels.  Cheap power strip looks dangerous.   No food service, even a pizza delivery, NOT.  Lousy sugary cereal,  store bought little Debbie's. No fruit or hot food.  You can say, well is is a Days Inn, what do you expect?  A $90 Days Inn in the middle of nowhere Iowa sure took advantage of I80 users.

Not good

Clean hotel. Cost friendly for a quick stop on a long roadtrip. Breakfast was very slim, just cereal and some packaged rolls. Breakfast area is not connected to office so there was noone to talk to about items that were empty. Young man at the front desk was very friendly. 

Great stop on long road trip

DO NOT STAY HERE! Besides being filthy the ONLY pets allowed at this "Pet Friendly" cesspool are dogs. They are terrible and should not be branded under a national chain. Just another disappointment for this god forsaken state.


KEEP DRIVING!

I booked a stay here on a road trip. The room was okay for the price, however the door to my room did not fully close and the door was really badly scratched up (I’m assuming from dogs). I would not recommend staying here as a solo person. I pulled in to the property and immediately felt unsafe. There was no one else staying at the property from what I could tell and there was really nothing else around the hotel. I travel a lot solo, and I have never felt so unsafe that I felt like I needed to leave a hotel, campsite, etc. I ended up leaving after being in the room for 15 minutes and stayed at a different hotel a few miles away. If I was with another person it would have been a totally different story and I probably would’ve stayed. The second hotel I went to said I shouldn’t have tried to stay here (pretty big red flag to me). 

Would not recommend to solo travelers

We were on our way from Colorado to Minnesota and needed a place to stay overnight. This was the nearest hotel so we stopped. It is a clean property. The beds and pillows were amazing! We wanted to take them home!

Quick Stop

We booked two hotel rooms online—one with two beds and another with one bed. Upon check-in, they said we only booked two rooms with one bed. We clearly had our receipts that showed what rooms we had booked. The front desk called the manager and we explained to them the situation they asked for our driver's license to get us a double bed. This was only after initially requesting 10$ extra for a double bed. After we had already left, we realized that the front desk did not return our driver's license and so we called them asking if they could send us the license to the address that was on it. They found it and said they would take it to the post office the next day. This was more than a week ago and we have still not received the driver's license. We just called today to check up and see if they had sent the license and they were rude and insisted they did not have the driver's license and hung up. 

In addition, one of the rooms smelled off and the other smelled humid/wet. Around 9 am they had housekeeping come in even though their front desk said checkout was at 11 am. Breakfast was disappointing, the juices were watered down and there was only cereal and milk.

Horrible Service

Dead bugs in bathroom, filthy tub & shower curtain & bathroom floor, ball of someone's hair in the window,  carpet needed vacuuming, TV didn't work on check-in, on-site employee couldn't speak English.  He got mad at me and started throwing papers.  We were only given 1 coffee cup for 2 guests and no water glasses.  We were there during an event in town.  The property took advantage of that and we were so overcharged.  More than $100 for Sunday night.  The weeknights were less, but still overpriced.  Poison Hemlock was growing behind the building by the path. It needed to be eradicated.

Filthy room

Facility lacks in housekeeping. Eating area very dirty. Check-in staff preoccupied when helping with check-in, etc. Security could use a step up too! Outside appearance not very inviting. Walls, lamp shades, etc. are dirty in quest rooms. 

Unhealthy

There isn't much more to say beyond the headline, it was unacceptable terrible. I'm not fussy, but this was the worst room I've stayed in over 15 years of regular business travel. Had I not arrived at 1am with an early start, I'd have walked right out

Room was literally disgusting

The property has seen better days. Hall way floors dirty, grounds were littered, messy breakfast area, pool has been boarded over, gate broken. Isolated from everything except right off interstate. The bed was clean and comfortable was the one plus. I’d definitely go future down the road for better accommodations. Price was good though.
